It IS humble, and doesn't cost much... . It's just decorated well... Humble my ass! Humble is an outdoor grill and giant bong in the woods. Although probably also the fastest way to get lvl 10.

Yeah, JPG is a much better way to go. Isn't shaklin a guy? Or was the person I heard refer to shaklin as "he" mistaken... * rainbow has no idea. That sim on the frontpage could be a goth TV. So no clues there either!

Personally I wish you could take badges away from towniees.
I hate paying them for things that I would never use them to do.
Thats why all my employees are the unskilled homeless people and trailer trash that populate my town.
Then I can traint hem in one, and only one, job and save 30$ an hour.

the snapdragon really helped tho, i place those all over the place to keep my customers and employees in better mood (only one or two in one spot so energy wont drain too fast)
I know this is off on a tangent, but does the snapdragon deplete energy when it boosts the other moods? No, it doesn't replenish but does slow energy depletion. So having a lot full of snapdragons you can easily get 24 hour shifts out of your employees before neding a rest. They are silly overpowered.

My Sim has taken up a new hobby of looking out of windows. She has shop full of customers waiting to pay, but nooo, she wants to look out the window. There is NOTHING there I tells ya. Turn the windows inside out. It stops them looking out and looks the same as long as they don't have shutters.

If Larry isn't available, ask for his voicemail. Probst is his last name.
Just explain you are a concerned customer and would appreciate some attention and reassurances.

All the teens in my hood I recognize, since allt he towniee teens are buried in a serial killer's backyard.
Its not just teens. Its certain interactions and I assume needs failures that take them out of the regular shopping cycle.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB sold items in Inventory? WHAT THE?
|
on: 2006 March 06, 23:30:51

Hmm how exactly does the delete button work? I can select something and hit delete on the keyboard then it gives a bunch of cash and removes the item. sanmonroe are you sure it deducts the money from your sims when the items are bought? Because if that's true their falling short, i got a ton of computers the shop sells them for about 3.1k and i can sell em out of the inventory for about 2.2k.
Hmm. Probably the game has no way to record how much items cost on other lots. They probably are refunding you the normal price not the spent price. If so, its another bug.

Ok lets make sure we are talking about the same thing.
When a sim comes onto your lot and buys something, say for 10$, the owner gains 10$ and has one item needing restock.
If you then load up the house of the sim who bought it, that sim now has 10$ less than before. They actually spent the money.
Now, supposedly the game limits you to only 3 items worth a max of 20% of the buyers lot value. If a fourth item is bought the first is sold back at full price.
This doesn't actually work.
Now, since Maxis realized that sims were stupid and would bankrupt themselves since they were bound to screw up the programming controlling spending behavior, they made it so you can sell the items your sims bought right out of thier personal inventory. If you do that you get a full refund.
The original seller does not lose the money ona refund, the game just pretends a townee bought it.

The cost of the items is deducted from the buyers money. The game jsut lets you sell it back so your CAS sims don't fuck themselves too badly.
The funny thing is the game is supposed to have a 3 item limit. i.e. if a sim comes on your lot and buys 10 things, only the last 3 will be in invintory. Each time they buy a new item an old one gets bumped and sold back.
Naturally, this feature doesn't work in any way shape or form. Its fun clearing 20 items out of every sim on a lot because they shop a lot.
Wonder if its broken for towniees too. Towniees that its not broken for could come into ahouse with immense numbers of objects bought for free.

When I close a shop and my Sims still have bags, they check them out before they leave. So your saying they leave with the bags without paying?
Yes, under certain conditions. Just closing the shop doesn't seem to be a problem. These are people stealing while you are open.
