My Sims appear obsessed with base game play interactions (Red Hands, Punch Me Punch You) instead of later expansion packs additions (Pillow Fights, Rock Paper Scissors*). *personal favourite

Clearly, they need more cowbell.

Most of the time, I let them get on with it since removing one autonomous interaction means Sims will loop continuously an equally obnoxious action in its place.
A few clicks, patience and tolerance can handle that - for everything else - there is free-will OFF. Smiley

I'm waiting for the potent and extremely fatal decay disease game mod in conjunction with a contest challenge. Smiley
Entertainment is all about survival and out-of-luck odds - just look at television. Oh, something about drama and explosions too.

Rigor Mortis...?

Have you tried forcing an error on the Sim and/or all objects (debugger option), any messages displayed?

The way I interpret it (feel free to correct me) is utilizing the resources for a 'normal' (CAS Sim) and duplicating that standard behaviour in place of 'unique' University personalities (Cheerleader/Mascots).

With SimPE, you would need to extract from the 'normal' Sim; the BHAVs (Behaviour Function), OBJfs (Object Functions) and take note of the Orig. GUID value under the OBJD (Object Data). Next step would be replacing the resources and changing to the noted Original GUID with the 'unique' Sim's character file.

I would backup, experiment and report back any information.
Although this operation is unfamiliar and untried for myself. Tongue

If you want to make a cheerleader or other NPC behave "Normal", what you need to do is to open up both a normal sim's character file and the affected NPC, and replace the "Fallback" and "Original" GUIDs from the NPC with the "normal" sim. That should cause the NPC to act normal.

My only gripe with 'Hang Out' is when Sims feel compelled to block paths with the interaction. Undecided
It would make more sense to check for a sensible open area or even do it outside (No Indoor Hang Out!)

Try this.

I've been using Smarter Food Serving, previously with only Nightlife installed, but have not noticed any BFBVFS problems with all current expansions. There are some issues with food placed in inventories - making bakeries bad for business - and food servings tend to be miscalculated on occasion due to the addition of robots (hydrobot needs lobster thermidor?) No autonomous cooking with micro-management food serving is an ideal option but tends to be a chore in larger households.* Undecided

XPTL's No Egoism is capable but the duplicate "serve" pie-menu entries (due to 'Make' being replaced) can be an eyesore.
There is no autonomous fridge lock, food serving changes and children being able to cook in comparison. Sad

I would appreciate an update for OFB compatibility (Smarter Lights & Babysitter) or even wishful thinking for Kitchen Uses You!  Shocked

* Inge's no autonomy fridge global patch looks interesting to trial in regards to easier management.

You can request additions to that modifcation here.
The only other hacks I know that allow posing/stances is the prop attachment and a few movie maker tools.

Do you have any custom sims in the My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/SavedSims folder?
That was what caused Bodyshop to crash and burn with the error message for me previously.
