I created a toddler in CAS, in a fresh hood, and he pulled out a doll the very second the family moved into their house. Weirdly, the doll was already named, unlike the ones I've received in the mail.

I've only had two children but both of them got dolls in the mail and they were both already named. I had the option to rename them however.

I always get those annoying dolls. I need a mod to make them go away when they hit teen age.

I'm hoping for a mod that makes the doll into a serial killing doll.

That would be perfect for that creepy ass doll. That or a Calvin and Hobbes mod. If the doll was a stuffed tiger and then looked like Hobbes then I would happily play with it.

Thought this might help some people. This adds the doll to debug, so you can buy it for any Sim. You need to use debug commands (CTRL+SHIFT with awesome, or use Twallan's debug enabler) to set the doll to a specific owner, and change its colour template.

I would take almost any other appearance than it's current one... I think the imaginary friend thing was a cute idea, and had been looking forward to it until I saw what that thing actually looked like. Ugh.

When you change it into an actual sim, is it fully controllable? I wouldn't mind it looking like a human sim, but if it acts as a regular controllable sim, I don't see much point.

Yep they join the household and act and age like a normal sim, though all the ones I have turned have had wild colored hair. They have to option to turn turn back to a toy at will from there.

Thanks a lot Anach. I have been waiting for exactly this.  :)
Are you planning to localize the menu? I'm asking because all menu entries which do not inherit from the object base are empty in my german installation.

Also as to answer Clifford's post it not autonomous because i went through almost an entire toddler life span and didn't see my sim play with it once

You must have had your kid busy all the time because my girls were CONSTANTLY pulling out the dolls and playing with them. If I left them alone for a second when I went back they'd be playing with the dolls.

The imaginary friend looks fine, but I'll get tired of sims having such homogeneous imaginations. With a lot of skill and some editsim, I bet one could make an imaginary friend into a Hobbes.

My mod is a simple OBJD edit, it is not a separate object. As I understand it; those missing menu translations will be related to whichever mod you use to access the debug menu.

The answer is clear: you must push your sister down a flight of stairs.

Step 1 (exception). Unless you disguise your stupidity with excessive punctuation and lots of smilies.
