151  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 May 15, 09:41:46
Is it possible to add a way to inseminate a sim without woohoo?
I want to be able to have two sims create a child, preferably without having to dick around with the social interactions  to use woohoo. I know Twallan's Master Controller does pollination, but I don't particularly want it in my game, conflicting with AM.

I am now getting resets with the deepfryer when trying to make maple bacon ice cream. The tablet works fine. My store content is legit though.
153  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is Anyone Using Process Monitor Now? on: 2012 May 13, 22:56:27
Are you using 64bit Windows?

MS messed with program and the newer versions no longer work in 64bit environments.

Yay, that saves me some time doing all the mac files.

Downside, who the fuck wants to deal with 1000+ people wanting access? And there would be the whole requesting access/sharing email addresses thing. No thank you. I like my mediafire account. One click and I can nuke all my uploads and walk away.
157  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How far, is too far? on: 2012 April 06, 21:49:44
I'd say the higher price tag is associated with this:

Quote
Rock out with your Sims to a Simlish version of Katy Perry's hit song, ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),' recorded for the game by Katy Perry.

I'd want a rebate for having that shit in my game.
158  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How far, is too far? on: 2012 April 05, 21:08:06
Some of it could be cute in the right context, a kids room, a themed kids park maybe. I don't really use the theme stuff that often, except to give Sooze the Vegas Living furnishings, since she likes them so much. Even the hairs aren't that great.

I wish EA would do a Shopping pack, like ofb. I'd pay for that because it opens up so much gameplay. For $10 more than a stuff back, it better include new gameplay / animations, not just shitty cake and candy furniture.

You can get a $10 stuff pack and register that and it will work.
161  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Digital downloads on Mac? on: 2012 March 30, 05:11:44
Arr the games, install onto the mac, realise they run like molasses due to crappy code and not having any sort of mac optimisation, install windows and then use the arred editions to play. Leave origin completely out of it.
162  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Lights! Camera! Inaction! SHOWTIME! on: 2012 March 25, 01:19:54
I have found the amount of simport spam is reduced when I don't log in. By reduced I mean about once per day per family, instead of the usual 3 or 4 times per sim.
163  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Question on: 2012 March 23, 20:58:35
The only acceptable post to follow such a title is "Tell me how you feel 'bout this?"

Michelle was always my favourite.
164  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: SimFest- No Performer? on: 2012 March 17, 09:00:45
Try cancelling the opportunity. I know I was able to do a lvl 2 performance in a small park with a stage, so I don't think you are the wrong level.

Is it possible to enable the option to order food from LN bars in the Live/Private Show venues ?
Princess Artemis at MTS is currently testing this now: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?p=3807798#post3807798

I agree with the SNES MK love, but Double Dash has toadette. Along with the BLUE SHELL OF DOOM.
167  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Hostile Play Environment on: 2012 March 15, 22:09:08
Yeah, it's really disappointing. I keep thinking this is a thread about playing sims half way up Mount Everest, or on the front line, or in a tank of sharks. Perhaps the thread should be re-railed in this direction.

I think my most hostile game environment was probably trying to play Mario Kart whilst a team of hyenas gathered mere feet away, to settle in for a night of "Let's freak the woozel out". True, there was a fence between us, but the stares put me off my laptime.
I hope it was Double Dash. That is the only acceptable Mario Kart as far as I'm concerned.

Well, I was in a campsite in the middle of the wilderness, so there was not so much of the console games going on. Mario Kart DS all the way.
Doin' it wrong. 4X4 + inverter = TV and console.

I'm not letting go of my superpatch. I am looking at all the unlock mods that let me play with the shinies EARLY.

It's PEBKAC.

I have personally made a post about this issue in the past. Search moar.
171  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims 3 has stopped working - Windows or computer problem? on: 2012 March 13, 21:46:59
My first clue was when it would run Crysis okay, but shit itself at TS3. Very bad coding.
172  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Game won't load after installing Showtime on: 2012 March 13, 20:55:50
If you are going to ask for help, at least provide some actual information other than "WAAAAAAAAAAAAA IT WON'T LOAD".
173  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims 3 has stopped working - Windows or computer problem? on: 2012 March 13, 20:54:28
I've personally been having the random ctd happening before I got showtime, so it's not something new and bad they've just introduced, their code has always been sloppy  Grin

I have an nvidia gtx 470 and it randomly locks up and then it makes a clicking noise and all the lag catches up.  Pretty sure it's on its last legs.  I pulled everything out a few weeks ago and cleaned out the heatsink etc, you could have fried an egg on the cpu it was so bad.  I am pretty convinced my CTD's are caused by my motherboard/gfx card getting old and failing.  I plan on rebuilding my pc from scratch in the next few weeks so it will be interesting to see how it fares on a beefy new rig.

The FPS Limiter would probably do you a world of good. Since there is no Vsync in TS3 many GPUs fry themselves running as fast as they can. Mine would regularly hit 100'c without the FPS limiter. I use the 3booter/fps limiter found here: http://moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15585.0.html
174  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Hostile Play Environment on: 2012 March 13, 04:02:43
I know I'm going to get all kinds of backlash from this, but I must speak out.  I'm not angry, just a little surprised by this forum sometimes.  Why do some people have to be so negative and insulting whenever someone needs help?  Especially when it comes to legitimate concerns about installing this program.  For a newbie to come in and try to install Awesome from the download page with NO INFORMATION about whether it's been updated, how would he know why it wasn't working?  He could spend a few hours reading the forum for answers but what would he find?  Talk of an update, a hint of a test mod, and many statements that the download link on the download page is ALWAYS the most recent update.

Besides, you can berate someone without calling them names and making them feel like the scum of the earth.

Just sayin'.

Furthermore, don't forget that all you superior intellectuals are playing a game where you pretend to have a life.

Really? Is it that fucking hard to read RIGHT THERE IN THE DOWNLOAD THREAD :

UPDATE
Updated to Patch 1.29
Added "Finish Queue" mode as requested by Fat Gwilly People to speed 4.

Oh fuck off if you aren't going to have the basic courtesy to READ. Do you walk into a bookstore and wail at the top of your lungs that you can't find something too?
175  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 March 11, 03:06:49
Test-version works fine with me, just one minor thing:

When one of my sims gains celebrity-status, I get the message that some Townie is no longer their friend. This happens over and over, different towns and different families. I don't mind it too much, because i just cheat my way to friend status again.
But just so you know. Smiley

P.s. I'm Dutch, so sorry for grammar mistakes.

I had this issue as well. It occurred right after a show finished and my sim got her first celebrity star.
