When you say gifted, do you mean through the exchange? If so, you shouldn't need to do anything to it.
You will also need to be moar specific about the error you are having.
127  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Bonehilda on: 2012 September 16, 21:21:17
My Bonehilda waters the indoor plant pots, cleans the kitchen and tidies up. She also goes into the Dark_Trepie's lair and rocks out on the dj booth.

I have no pets or babies, so I haven't seen the "love to death" interactions.

In addition, the new alchemy recipes need to be covered by BooksNotMagicScrolls. In my game they go puff! after being read.

Seconded.

This. I knew there was something I was forgetting to mention.
The test version has been stable for me with no crashing, and all of the AM commands I have tried seem to be working without errors AFAIK.

I will add to the chorus of borked wish fulfilment.

130  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Testers wanted: No Fullmoon Freakout + Extremely low Chance of Zombies on: 2012 September 10, 03:31:21
The big issue at the moment is a bug that occurs if you save between 4pm and 8pm on a full moon night. The game just keeps spawning zombie after zombie, regardless of the moon state. I personally want MOAR zombies.
131  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 September 07, 04:51:32
I just like the fact that 4shared links get nuked far less often than Mediafire. I was hunting for one of Coltraz's older files and it had been nuked Sad
132  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TS3 Patch 1.38 on: 2012 September 03, 22:51:56
I thought the AM Bug Report threads were where people go to report they were too stupid to troubleshoot.
And here I was thinking people just spammed new threads everywhere when they did that.  Roll Eyes
133  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TS3 Patch 1.38 on: 2012 September 03, 08:36:20
Please report AM errors in the AM error threads.
134  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patched, then most saves don't load. on: 2012 August 09, 06:22:00
Can you get in long enough to nuke the sim or reset the world?
135  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Playing 1.24 version of Awesomemod-Idiotic question from an idiot in general on: 2012 July 04, 21:22:36
Just out of curiosity, which sliders?
All of mine work fine with 1.34, and I'm always interested in finding more sliders.
136  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Teens Splitting Household Have No Money on: 2012 June 28, 22:00:56
The trouble is, when I tried to move my teen Sims out of the house, They had no money.
Yeah, that's how it works in real life, too. Between labor laws and the fact that kids don't get to have things like their own bank accounts, they don't have any money. It makes you wonder why people bother trying to market things to a demographic that lacks its own finances. Short of dealing drugs and stealing cars, kids don't have money. Dealing drugs isn't actually in the game, and they can always sell the cars AFTER running away.

I must have imagined all those teenagers that make up the bulk of the minimum-wage work force.
Yes, along with all the bank accounts I had in my own name while I was still a 12. Bank accounts so I could receive my WAGES.
137  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Poll about Aging: what settings are you using in your game? on: 2012 June 26, 23:10:48
I play with a custom long setting. Babies are 2 days, toddlers 5 days, children 9, teens 15, and then something like 40/50 for both the young adult and adult stages. I still want lots of spawn to happen, but also want to have plenty of time to mess around with the careers and what not. Normally once the household has children, I only play rabbithole jobs, that way I don't have to micromanage them + spouse + 3+ children at the same time.
138  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Tweaked lifetime happiness rewards! on: 2012 June 21, 23:28:35
Oooh YAY.

Can tell it's been a while since I've played with my config settings.  Embarrassed
139  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Tweaked lifetime happiness rewards! on: 2012 June 21, 21:38:05
They are not immediately accessible through the config options, and I'm not sure if you can change them by digging through the AM code. There are some behaviours that are hard-coded into AM, I am fairly sure the LTR modifications fall into that category.
140  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Lag, what could I upgrade. on: 2012 June 18, 23:46:26
If you are getting a new shiny, use a framerate limiter. TS3 is coded so that it will just keep pushing the framerate as high as it can until your video card dies. There is no v-sync option either. Use the FPS limiter from this site, or EVGA or NVidia tools, whatever you prefer. Pescado discovered that despite the game pushing out in excess of 150fps, it only actually draws 30fps, so there is no reason to let it go that high. I use the 3booter + fps limiter to keep it at 30fps for the sake of my card. On menus and paused it would pump out 2000+fps sending the card to 91'c before making me freak out.
141  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 June 18, 08:23:16
Pescado has said he supports ye olde style mod files as it is the one he uses, as do I. Perhaps using Error Trap will let you know what is going wrong.
142  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 June 18, 02:02:20
It may be that your PC just can't handle AM story progression, it does take a bit of grunt to run. You said you don't get crashes if you turn it off, so I suspect that's your problem right there.

Or he has been running the hood for AGES, and there are too many sims/borked sims that don't occur in a new hood. Most EA hoods are laggy from the get go, so it's not really a valid test.
143  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 June 18, 01:09:31
Ok, I'm about ready to kick this game in the balls. It's freezing and crashing all the time and it's been happening for a while so I can't seem to find out exactly what's causing it. I think it started happening shortly after installing showtime and updating from 1.29. I'm using a custom world, but I don't think that's the issue because I've always played in that neighborhood. I tried playing in Starlight Shores and I still got occasional freezes. I don't think it's due to any particular interaction because it's happened so many times and it doesn't matter what my sim is doing. I've been playing with the same mods I always have, they're updated for the latest patch and I know nothing conflicts with AM. I've tried playing w/ no mods except AM and it still happens. One thing I did notice is that when I turned AM's story progression off, it didn't crash. But I don't want to use EA's crappy story progression, I've always been using the awesome story driver. I do know that the patches that came after 1.29 have a tendency to cause crashing. The world I'm playing in is called Shearwater, created by simsample at sims cave. Is there a way Pescado can test out my game to see what exactly is causing it to crash all of a sudden? Do I upload the file in my "saves" folder? And I use "insert FTP link" to attach it, right?

Have you tested CC to see if that is the cause? (I don't mean mods)
Have you tried using Error Trap?
Have you tried a new copy of the world you use?
Have you tried fix all?
HAVE YOU ACTUALLY DONE ANYTHING OTHER THAN INSIST PESCADO FIX IT FOR YOU?
144  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 June 17, 22:31:03
I am playing the latest patch with sweet shit installed. My existing family were able to access the mailbox without issue. Debug mode in enabled by default in my config.
145  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Lag, what could I upgrade. on: 2012 June 17, 11:53:22
Silverkitty. I play a similar game profile to you: D3, WoW (previously) and TS3. I found that most of my D3 problems are Blizz related with lag and rubberbanding being a serverside issue that would be worse after new patches.
I use an AMD X6 1155t with 6gb ram and a GTS250 (old-ish). Cooling is a bit of an issue in summer since the ambient air temp gets to 35'c but other than that it's okay.

Have you checked your CC? I would have a  HUGE issue every now and again with bad CC and TS3. Process Monitor would show the game choking as it tried to load a hair over and over again, thousands of times. It gave me odd lag and low FPS from time to time, removing the bad CC fixed the problem. Keeping your high detail lots option to the lower end (1 or 2) can help as well.

Lastly with hardware: Later EPs added Large Address Aware coding to TS3, so it should work better in rigs with more than 4gb of ram. Ram and video cards are easy upgrade, and for the most part they will carry over if you end up doing a complete rebuild in the next 12 months. The good news is that most mobos to suit your CPU are an AM3 socket. Double check, but if it is and you can get new bios software, you can upgrade it all the way to a 6 core like mine and jezzers without needing to replace it. Today I was able to have 19 windows open, including 4 browser windows with a total of 44 tabs, photoshop and TS3 running minimised in the background (don't ask). I wouldn't necessarily go upgrading stuff off the bat though. TS3 has a lot of sloppy code and bad CC that can cause the game to behave badly. I would investigate that first before buying more hardware, unless you are upgrading for the heck of it.
146  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 May 28, 23:39:35
There's an old mod at http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=459905 for a hospital overhaul that offers the ability to donate sperm / be inseminated.

This was almost perfect, except that the father is still flagged as the woman's spouse. I need to have multiple partners to expand the gene pool. I really hate using Master Controller, but I guess there is no other option.
*Skadi holds out for something AWESOME.
147  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 May 26, 05:34:53
If this request leads to the Vole showing up again to theorize about Where Lesbian Babbies Come From, I'm going to stab all of you so hard.

It's still worth it if I can find a non-Twallan way to do this.
148  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Where be the mustbedestroyed.org sites? on: 2012 May 26, 05:32:58
There is a link in the news box.

I always have them do it via the shower and they have never refused (as long as they are in love or married), even without any romantic interactions first.
I'm looking to create a pregnancy without any real relationship at all.
150  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 May 16, 03:34:46
Trait based perhaps?

I'm looking at a populating-the-world type challenge, which will require partner swapping to ensure as low a chance of inbreeding as possible. Hence skipping the relationship part.
