1  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 4.0.87 (AMB) TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 19, 03:22:10
Awesome mod 2010-Jun-19 04:55:06 - Game will not start; Hangs on title screen before it starts loading.
Same issue here. Tested with and without mods, now using version dated 12/6/10 which loads but has expired.

Interior Designer borkage: When I completed the renovation, the client did not return straight away, instead made me wait until their work finished, which was outside of hours for the interior design career. Client sim just stood there tapping their toes until I cancelled the interaction.

Support for burnination complete.

Friendly is "so do you have a boyfriend or what?" and romantic is "Hey. You got a boyfriend? Grin How YOU doin'? Grin".

Or at least that's how it used to be...I think.

Presumably you're single.
After everything Claeric has been spewing out, this is what triggers the "presumably you're single" thoughts?
I came to that conclusion after the first 50 posts.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Sunset Valley Revised for Ambitions (Savegame) on: 2010 June 11, 02:48:00
Too bad this wasn't an Awesomespec savegame. Oh well, you can't have everything.

Why would that be an issue? You can add AM at any time, you don't have to make a new hood. Unless I'm misunderstanding you.
6  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 1.2.7/2.7.7/3.3.11 TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 11, 00:14:36
This thread Is 15 pages long, unlike most of you I don't have that much time on my hands to search through bullshit, when someone could simply be a good person and help me.  however people on threads, (In specific this one) Are complete and utter douche bags, who do not have feel like dealing with "n00bs". So can someone please take the GIANT stick out of their ass and help me, por favor.
Then just be a lazy cunt and look through the last 3 pages, you will still find your answer. If you can't take the time to read the damn thread, stop using AM, because you are not worthy.

In other news I'm currently vanilla testing the consignment store to see how much borkage is EA vs AM.

k The error isn't coming up anymore, but my kids can't go to school is that an ambitions issue or am?
For fuck's sake, just read the damn thread. It's been mentioned over and over and over.
Better yet, just stop posting.

You have to crack it. They don't give out passwords.

I'm running 7x64, and everything is working fine in the old mods structure.

Yeah, this is a ripped version of the e-guide I got this morning. Pretty craptastic quality from Prima this time around.

And they expect people to pay $14.99 US for the privilege. I found this one less useful than the previous guides; that or ambitions is more buggy.

This is a ripped copy, the searchable one will be a few days.

That's interesting to know mildlydisguised, because I found SimSocial interesting. Might go look up Kudos.

[Edit to correct reply - totally brain dead.]

I do want the little plumbbob drive, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I pay $99 AUD for it.

I've tried a few things, including removing all custom content, same thing. And I only use minor hacks like commskilling and dontwaveatme
Here is the problem. I recommend Business Runs You (BRY) and OFBfixes found in the hacks directory.
17  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Wide screen resolutions and CAS. on: 2009 May 02, 11:15:50
The comments suggest it doesn't work for 1680 x 1050, but I'm desperate enough to try anything.

edit: It works okay for full body, but not great for headshots. The light is at the wrong angle.
18  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Wide screen resolutions and CAS. on: 2009 May 02, 08:38:09
I have just bought a 22" wide screen that runs at 1680 x 1050. The game runs it fine, and everything looks beautiful, except for CAS. The UI now appears over the sim when you put them together which stops me from taking screenshots of the content that I have made. I have tried the camera hack; it helped a little, but it's still not enough. Has anyone got a work around for this?
19  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: can't sell or hang painting on: 2009 April 28, 05:24:57
Ditto Kofi.
Also: I have default replacements for paintings, as well as recoloured easels with all EP/SPs and have no issues. What happens when you click on the completed painting with a sim to sell it? Do you have debug mode on? I think it's a case of tight pants.
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Help a non-awesome person figure out how to work the M&G crack on: 2009 April 03, 08:28:26
To start with, exactly where are you installing the crack? Have you bypassed the launcher? Have you tried deleting groups.cashe?
21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: TSR Privacy Violation on: 2009 April 02, 15:15:04
I had a sub many years ago, but stopped when I discovered simsfilevault. Even if I wanted stuff from The Shit Repository, I would rather get it clean from the booty. Cwykes: do you know if they watermark your free lots?
