1  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Broken Stoves on: 2009 January 26, 17:53:39
Thank you all. You would think I could remember this stuff. This last fire was stupid. She has all her cooking skill points and managed to set herself on fire making pancakes. In any case the stove is gone now.  Grin
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Broken Stoves on: 2009 January 26, 08:39:41
Is there an easy way to get rid of a stove that has a burnt item on it but seems to be stuck? This has happened a few times to my Sims in all different neighborhoods. They will burn something and instead of letting them get rid of the burnt item on the stove or in the oven, it just sits there and they can't touch  it. I also can't delete the stove because it thinks it is in use. So far my method of getting rid of it is to stick it in the yard and when there are a lot of leaves around it, set it on fire. Usually the stove burns up then. I am quite sure this  isn't what most people do, so I am looking for a better way. lol

Yes, I did do that I think. Thank you Dr. Nerd and all. I haven't used Sims PE yet for that, but I will try it. Surely I can't make it worse.

My Sim wants to be best friends with herself. No matter how many times I refresh her wants that 1 still pops up. Is this an error? How do I get rid of it?
6  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Transferring games to another hard drive. on: 2008 December 08, 16:13:29
I am asking for a new hard drive for Christmas, and I need to know how to save my game to discs, that can then be loaded onto my new hard drive. We have a disc burner so we can burn as many discs as we need. I am more of a danger to my pc than a help to it, but feel free to talk in very technical terms so my husband can do it. Has anyone ever changed hard drives and switched their game over before? Did it wok?  Also, how much hard drive space do you think Sims 3 will require?  Huh
7  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How to see a ghost? on: 2008 December 04, 17:11:24
I must be doing something wrong since my Sims never see a ghost when they want to. I would much prefer they had other wants than that. I never let my Sims die or their pets though. Mock me if you want too. I know that's probably considered weird or soft.   Cheesy
8  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Can I debug a whole lot? on: 2008 December 02, 15:39:11
Yes, I have downloaded a few occupied lots before. Is that bad? I haven't loaded any occupied lots into AL though. I didn't realize downloading the occupied lots could mess up my game. I do need to play with debug mode and not forget how to do it like a dork.

Jolrei, I want you to  know I appreciate how helpful you are and your advice is always great. Thank you.

Pescado, Zazazu and Jolrei are truly awesome.
9  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Can I debug a whole lot? on: 2008 December 02, 06:08:33
Since Zazazu reminded me how to do it I will try it, but no guarantees because I really don't know what I am doing here. Sometimes I think you all are speaking in a foreign language. Using hacks and mods is still fairly new to me. It wasn't that long ago that I was content with just the regular game. What was I thinking? lol

I could never go back to that, and the fact that Pescado and the others can make this stuff is amazing to me. You are truly awesome and I freely admit that.

I get jumps rarely on other lots and  since they are infrequent I haven't worried about it. The only thing this lot has that the other lots don't, is a servo. This lot was the first time I ever used a servo.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Outings baffle me on: 2008 December 02, 03:45:11
No, I am saying that my New Year's baby is what shows up when I have outings. I've never gotten a regular baby. All of it's a little weird though. lol
11  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Can I debug a whole lot? on: 2008 December 01, 16:24:13
I think moving the Sims out is the easiest idea. They are all teens now they can just go to college. I would like to try the lot debugger but really I don't know what the hell I am doing and freely admit it. lol  Thank you for the help.  Smiley
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Outings baffle me on: 2008 December 01, 12:03:47
Are these babies different than that New Years baby? I've gotten him or her a few times and really not sure what was going on there.
13  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Can I debug a whole lot? on: 2008 December 01, 07:55:46
I have one family in AL that is giving me constant jumps for any activity they go to do - i.e. eat, sleep, etc.. Is it possible to debug a whole lot? It isn't just one family member on the lot either, it is all of them so I don't know what to do other than not play that family since it is so annoying.
14  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Matchmaker on: 2008 November 29, 09:52:19
Ok thank you all for replying.Yes,I have been lurking since I dont know what you all are talking about half the time but am trying to learn. Plus, last time I posted I insulted Pescado so I figured silence might be best for a bit.  Lips sealed
15  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Matchmaker on: 2008 November 28, 20:31:18
When I call the matchmaker since I got AL she will come and the Sim pays her for a blind date and then it resets to the matchmaker arriving but the money comes out anyway. What a racket lol.Anyway I didnt have this problem before I got Al. Huh
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can anyone help me I keep getting errors when my Sims try to make a call on: 2008 July 26, 06:56:48

17  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can anyone help me I keep getting errors when my Sims try to make a call on: 2008 July 26, 06:19:38
I copied exactly the errors in my Sim logs so I dont know what else you need to see.I can keep copying error logs since I have many of them now.
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can anyone help me I keep getting errors when my Sims try to make a call on: 2008 July 26, 06:03:26
Forced what JM ?How did I force the error exactly I just want the Sims to be able to use a phone.I attached 2 of the errors assuming I did that correctly since I dont know what I'm doing.Ive tried many different phones and Sims and cell phones and I always get an error message.Invalid Constant error or Hit Break Point Primitive are the 2 I usually get.I checked my hacks nothing with the word phone in them.TY anyone who can help.
