I don't understand what is the new

Pregnancy moodlet now has a countdown timer so you can keep track of how long it lasts.
?
Does I have another hack in order to make it working ?
I have not see a choice in the "awesomemod config " .Does something appears when a sim female is pregnant ?
Thanck you for helping me .

When your sim is pregnant, the pregnant moodlet has a line under it, not a countdown timer like many of the others.  I take this change to mean that now, instead of a line, there is a time counting down how long the pregnancy moodlet lasts for.  Which means, you now have a countdown timer for when the  baby will be born

I thought this was a great idea until I realized my sims no longer get the purple pregnancy icon. I have several pregnant sims, including a couple who got pregnant during gameplay after installing this latest version of AM. None of them got the pregnancy icon.

Am I the only one with this issue?

Babies and toddlers in currently unplayed houses seem to vanish when the adults leave the house. They reappear when someone comes home. Hogwarts daycare, maybe?

If you are using Windoze, could it be in the recycle bin? Or, maybe there is a .bak file for it?

I know it's not an object, but I miss LOTFULLOFSIMS the most right now. 6 screaming larvae isn't enough for me! I can fit in at least 22 more before the first one toddlers up! Someone make this possible, please!

^ This. I love the challenge of 10 or 15 or more Sims in a household.

Attempting to isolate mystery 0100 crash, although it may not exist in the just-uploaded version.

Sorry, but yes it does. Actually, mine got to about 1:14 AM or so before it diskappeared.
Also, wanted to ask if the xcpt<MACHINENAME> bla bla.txt files would be of any use; it seems to contain a lot of info.

o I have the enablescripterror.package in.
o Deleted all caches.
o File permissions look fine.
o CAS made sim in Riverview.

Not sure if anyone here cares, but Microcenter has a special this weekend on the game. Pay $5 USian down and get the game for $19.99 instead of $49.99 when it comes out on the 2nd.

Could this be a response to the leak? I kind of doubt is as ads and offers are usually done way in advance, but who knows?

...esnips requires sign up.

I had no problem downloading without having to sign up. In fact I downloaded it twice because I closed without saving the first time because the phone rang and I forgot I hadn't saved when I came back.

Hmmm. Perhaps it is because I keep my browser security settings locked down so tight. Husband always
complains about that when he uses my rig. Will check when I get home.

you put it somewhere else? <whine>

Thanks!

Check your event log and diagnostics on your video card.
My video card fan quietly died once upon a time and my game started to crash.
Only found the problem after dismantling my desktop, but there were hints in the event log.

Glad everyone is getting this to work for them. Wink
41  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Clean and fixed Uber-Megahood! FINISHED! on: 2009 March 20, 14:35:04

The first one did install fine, it seems to be just the second. Thanks!

Just to get this out of the way. You only extract part1.rar - stuff from all 3 parts will be automatically extracted then. And I suppose all 3 parts should be in same location while extracting (like, your desktop).

Just poking my nose in to say I think this may be their problem. I didn't realize that I only had to extract part1 at first and tried to
extract all three. You end up with multiple copies of stuff. I always extract to some alternate location before I place things into
my game, and when I looked at what had been extracted, I knew I had done it wrong. I deleted those extracted files and extracted
part1 only. Everything extracted fine then and I just moved the neighborhood into my game.

ETA: Oh, and it works really well, btw. I have been enjoying playing this with clean templates installed. I made several of the simbin and
Maxis families into townies Smiley

43  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Menu problem on: 2009 January 24, 05:25:38
I'm having the same problem, mostly when I click on sims themselves. But it doesn't happen all the time, even on the same lot, so it's hard to pin down.

This ^. I do find that if I click repeatedly, the next menu will open up and then the more option works properly. It does aggravate the old carpal tunnel, though. I've been wondering about it for a while, but not enough to do the binary dance. I delete the cache files when it starts happening often. I think that helps, but it's so random, it's really hard to tell if does or not.

We just built one for Mr. BattyCoda. Took it pretty much straight off ArsTechnica's Hot Rod Box for Sept. 2008.

http://arstechnica.com/guides/buyer/guide-200809.ars/3

I ended up buying a different power supply and case (http://www.antec.com/usa/productDetails.php?lan=us&id=15900).

Just make sure your power supply can handle all the devices and has enough of the necessary connectors.

ETA: Two parens!

SimPE does its thing.

Hi, new tester here. I have been fooling around with this tonight and I have a question and a problem.

Am I supposed to have to rename the Rufio folder for each neighborhood? That was the only way I could get
it to do another neighborhood and save the data.

I loaded up my really old neighborhood, 1214 sims. The Rufio folder was created and the ExportedSims.txt file is there,
but when I tell it to Import Sims, it crashes with the SimSheet has encountered a problem and needs to close message.

Btw, the Rufio folder is being created in the SimSheet folder.

SimSheet:
C:\SimSheet-test

SimPE:
C:\ProgramFiles\SimPE\

I thought they always did run to the mailbox? If they stay outside the room, they just keep trying to get back into the same bed they have just been booted from. Apartment Life seems to make them try to go to bed early, even when they have quite a bit of energy AND Sleepclock is installed.

THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG! The game sends them to bed at frickin' 8:00 pm if their energy is 1/4 full! What the heck?
Who thought that was a good idea?
