Title: Halp! Need a file
Post by: cwieberdink on 2008 June 16, 13:46:16
I did something to my game and had to uninstall ALL expansion packs and SP and reinstall.  Of course, for some reason, my unscratched Sims 2 disc is now refusing to transfer a file.  Can someone send me \TSData\Res\UI\Fonts\ARPYenti GB.mxf  Pretty please?

Could someone direct me as to how this is done?  I am unawesome, but not stoopid.  I googled, came up with information on how to replace discs in the spine - not what I wanted to know.

You just put the CD in the drive and open it up like a folder, browse to the location you need, and nab the file.

...or, in the case of needing full arrrtificial disks, go to somewhere like The Pirate Bay and download torrents of all your EPs (this will take some time).  Then you have images of all EP disks which can be loaded through Daemon tools.  Never worry about scratched disks again.
