Title: family dinner is nightmare again /cries
Post by: Kestran on 2006 March 10, 17:47:55
Ugh. So....I need a hack compatible to the new expansion that stops those infernal Sims from chatting so much when they eat. I did have Cboy's EatMoreTalkLess hack but that is not compatible. And neither is Pescado's similar hacks...so help.

I thought Pescado's noeatcrap included the talking-too-much fix. It's OFB compatible.

Doh! /slaps forhead Homie style

I was reading the creation thread of that hack instead of just diving straight into OFB hack directory. Its there and compatible. Thanks hon :-*

I hadn't read the description of that hack closely enough.  I'd avoided it because I wanted my Sims to get food poisoning now and then.  I've just about had it with dinners that take 3 hours, so I'm going to go get it.

Disgusting slob sims will still eat food emitting green fumes with flies. I'm pretty sure most people, though, will stop eating something that makes them gag.

Does this include burnt food? It's so silly when they sit there eating burnt food, gag, then start eating again and talking like nothing is wrong. I realize it won't make them sick, but damn, I'd rather starve.  :D

No, they'll keep eating their charcoal anyway, it's not harmful.

I'd think it would be a carcinogen...

Sims don't live long enough to get cancer

I'm guessing you're not likely to do a legacy anytime soon, huh Brynne? ;)

You would think burnt food would serve more of a purpose. I've fed it to the headmaster several times and have gave me high food points. :p

I could see it being say, less filling, cause the environment score to go down, induce vomiting etc. It should do something. Right now the only negative effect I can think of is it doesn't fill the 'learn to make' wants.
