Title: UFO's in Neighborhood view Post by: flowerchile on 2007 January 08, 13:19:50 (I swear I was NOT drunk or under the influence of narcotics of any variety when I saw this.. and I did a quick search before posting).
With OFB came the flying pig.. Is it possible that UFO's came with Pets? I was decorating a custom 'hood a couple of weeks ago and a UFO flew straight by the camera. I was so freaked out I wasn't quick enough to get a pic. I waited to see if I got another appearance but nothing, so I reloaded the game; still nothing, and in the two weeks since I haven't encountered it either, but it has been bugging me. The best way to get one to show up seems to be to add one or more nuclear cooling towers to a hood or a crashed UFO (like in Strangetown), though I'm pretty sure I've seen one in my Pleasantview where I have neither decoration.

It think it'll scan anything big enough. But yea, it looks like placing any of the new hood decorations from pets may trigger a visit.

I am sooo happy to find out that I wasn't seeing things. :D I had a feeling it was something to do with Stonehenge..there weren't that many new decorations and Stonehenge and the temples have always been associated with the Unknown, so it made sense.
