76  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is it only my sims, or they all actually like to flirt with anything that moves? on: 2009 June 11, 16:38:00
I have a lot of Sims having babies with others that technically don't have a high enough relationship.  Nobody has gotten married on their own.  I went to Mortimer's house to get him together with Bella and saw her boy friend was Malcolm Landgrabb.  I went over to her and she had two children with him but never got married.  She had a way higher relationship with Mortimer but never had any options for romance.  I swear this time around I'm going to get rid of the grumpy trait.  It is death to relationships.  Whenever Gunther socializes at work, his performance goes down, eventhough he has high charisma.  I don't see any inappropriate flirting, though there was a gossip that somebody was cheating.
77  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Neighborhood Shifting-The Horror-or not! on: 2009 June 11, 14:56:39
Until I can create my own 'hood from scratch, I don't consider any instance to be my real game. It can't be mine if everyone else has a Riverview or a Sunset Valley, even if I've bulldozed all the lots and have different families living there. So if it gets bunked up, no loss.

I now don't think that the deletion of townies is a major problem.  I have deleted a number of my sim's former friends (including workmates, one of his bosses, and a girl he was hitting on), after moving MATY sims into their houses and evicting the townies to the clipboard.  They  just vanish from the relationships panel as if they never existed.
I tend to agree with you.  Isn't the game basically deleting people when the move out of town.  They still stay in the family tree but are deleted from the relationship panel.

It probably would be wise to wait for the final verdict from Prescado before you do that.  The memories were the big problem which Sim 3 doesn't have.  How will it treat family relations and such is the question.  I already had to reinstall once(what a bear).  I'm not willing to try it out.
79  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Where do dead babies/toddlers go? on: 2009 June 09, 17:44:00
I had a notification that a burgular was on the active Sims property, so I clicked on it and it wasn't their house.   It was a house down the street(Bunch house) and the burgular was stuck in between all the Sims.  He was going crazy and it took hours before he was able to wiggle free.  I thought I was going to have a dead burgler.  It left the house wide open and you could see that they just stood there till they were called to leave the house.
80  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Borken stuff: toddlers, birthdays, dead spots on: 2009 June 08, 19:58:16
I have a problem with the options menu.  I have the biggest screen listed so I picked the right screen and it gave me the timer and I was clicking ok or save (whatever it is) and it wouldn't recognise it.  I kept clicking and the timer finally ran out and it reverted back to default.
81  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is there a problem with the Epic 10th Anniversary Chess Set? on: 2009 June 08, 19:51:30
I found if the chairs are anywhere near a wall, one chair doesn't work.  I wonder if the game is having problems with cancelled querys and it thinks that the chair is occupied.
82  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Tombstones on: 2009 June 07, 20:07:38
Thank you.  I did see that option but it didn't register.
83  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Tombstones on: 2009 June 07, 19:36:59
Hope his isn't a stupid question since I can't find anyone discussing this.  When a Sim dies when you are playing a different house, where does the tombstone go?  Iv'e had about thirty Sims die and I have no tombstones. Not at the cemetary and not at their homes or in inventories.  Where?Huh
84  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Neighborhood Shifting-The Horror-or not! on: 2009 June 07, 19:23:12
This is weird.  The adoption method is completely different then in TS2.  I had the Keaton boy(now man) adopt a baby girl, then proceed to leave town, and leave the toddler with his eldely mother, who only had two more days to live.  Of course the lady dies and they take the now(little girl) away and the house closes.  So I went to another house that also had an eldely couple but had much longer to live, adopt a little girl thinking that I would get Tennielle(the little girl).  I didn't, I got a different little girl.  Every day that the bus came, it would say that it was here for Sarah and Tennielle.  Apparantly, the game created a single man and plunked her in with him.  He wasn't her adoptive parent, a stranger.
85  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Neighborhood Shifting-The Horror-or not! on: 2009 June 06, 18:03:44
I had a strange thing happen.  I went into a single old women's house(one that had moved into town)and she had an infant on her doorstep that was a stranger-he was the adopted son of Gobias Koffi- who had just died.  Was he visiting her house with his baby when he died?  Without memoies how are you suppose to know how this things happened?
86  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Neighborhood Shifting-The Horror-or not! on: 2009 June 05, 16:58:25
I'm glad you are working on it.  Makes me feel better.  That function in the game seems possibly explosive for the neighborhood.  I like it, but it needs to be managed better.  If maybe the Sims moving in are limited to the bin.  It would be nice not to have to move them in if I don't want to.  Then if a Sim moves away, they will go back to the bin to be recycled?
87  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Neighborhood Shifting-The Horror-or not! on: 2009 June 05, 16:12:11
I have about five new houesholds that came out of nowhere.  I guess I wouldn't mind so much if they came out of the bin- where did they come from???  Where in blue blazes is Kaylynn Langerak and her older brother.  They moved away--but where-are they coming back-  I spent a long time on them.  I kinda like the realism of it but what keeps my favorite Sim from up and moving??
88  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Work Options on: 2009 June 05, 15:37:42
If you make sure your Sim has a lot of positive moodlets, then let them stress out and take care of it at home.
89  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Extreme difficulty in killing sims by fire? on: 2009 June 05, 15:34:55
If the Sim has a daredevil trait then they can't die by fire.
90  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: The Fight Club: Now With More Shinyness on: 2008 November 07, 19:47:08
There seems to be some insane behavior with reputation.  If you have a bad reputation, Sims just walk up and put their finger in the Sims face(good way to lose a finger).  This doesn't seem to be logical- if you cry over everything then why would you provoke a notorious fighter?  I understand if you are mean but a nice person wouldn't do that and neither would a person who is in love with them.  It is crazy, my bad rep Sims can't do anything on a community lot.
91  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Question about adoption, dominance and graveyard ownage. on: 2008 October 24, 21:50:51
I make adoption pools a lot and if you don't wipe out their relationship to each other, they will carry it with them.  You can use InSIMinator or SimPE to make them no longer family and delete their relationships to each other or they will still know each other.
92  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is my Strangetown strange? on: 2008 October 24, 02:37:28
Before the Ottoman's were fixed, I would make her not pregnant by InSIM and then I would make her pregnant again and advance the preganany to second trimester.  Couldn't you do the same thing with Pascal and choose Alien pregnancy.  I have found a lot of problems with empty templates, but with the right tools I have been able to fix all of them so far.  The hood is so big that I don't think my computer could take much more than a few generations anyways.
93  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How exactly is babysitting supposed to work? on: 2008 October 04, 16:10:48
One fix that was in the patch is that when the tot would fall asleep in the pet bed it would release the nanny to go home.  Did a toddler fall asleep in a pet bed?
94  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My god they fixed the nannies they fixed them!!! on: 2008 September 20, 17:17:52
While it's good to know that the nannies work correctly (psh it took them 8 EPs?) are you saying that you can make a townie in Bodyshop or CAS and use simsurgery on the NPCs now? If so, that's good to hear, because that's what I've wanted to do since a year ago. Although, I borked my test neighborhood by aging down the Gypsy; she wouldn't do anything but arrive. If nannies and other NPC's can be aged down that will be good to hear. I also remember aging up one of the newspaper delivery sims to a YA, she still delivers the paper and magazines, but she doesn't have the hat/carrier outfit. If I get better at clothing meshing, I'll be sure to age-convert the delivery outfits, or maybe somebody more awesome will do it.
I age down nannies all the time, it seems to work fine.  Just don't do it while they work or they might leave afterwards.
95  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Apartment Life Borkiness, or how i ended the world in 1 hour. on: 2008 September 07, 17:43:07
I was at a Community lot and I summoned the NPC witch over so my Sim can become friends, and the game re spawned another good witch?  So if the NPC is controllable for less than a second, the game thinks they need a replacement?  And what is up with all the the incessant greeting?  When I was playing hack free, it actually would stomp the query and it was almost impossible to get them to do anything.
96  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: 50/50 Method Phails (and phails, and phails...) on: 2008 September 06, 16:11:46
I went through that and it was driving me crazy.  It ended up fixing itself.  I guess something prefered to be loaded in a different order?
97  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Oh My! I think EA might have done something smart for a change! on: 2008 September 01, 03:18:00
I'm experiencing the opposite.  My game seems much slower and going into a hotel for the first time took so long that I thought it was going to crash.  I usually run my game with 8 gigs of downloads and the Megahood that is almost as big--and if I run a new hood with no downloads, I usually don't have to wait but a few seconds.  It is really strange.
98  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Life: Obligatory Hate/Love Topic on: 2008 August 31, 01:31:19
My butler sucked and I fired him.  I hired him for the household that only has kids and he washed one counter and then paced the bathroom till the kids were about to pee their pants .  They were half starved and the toilet was broken and he wouldn't fix it.  Not much worse than the nanny who stayed out on the playground all day, when the twins needed her on the third floor(with her elderly nanny gait, she didn't get to the tots before they peeed themselves followed by her peeing herself.  It is really hard to play that house without cheats.
99  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Life: Obligatory Hate/Love Topic on: 2008 August 27, 17:35:21
OK, I've got the game but won't be able to play myself till tomorrow night and I'm curious to find out something from the people who are playing already... Is the witch stuff made in a way like the computer from that Humble guy where you had no choice but to see and be annoyed by it? I don't personally want witches in my game and am wondering if I'm going to have to make an anti-witch hack like the anti-vampire, anti-humble, and anti-plant-sim hacks I made... Tongue
I believe you have to ask a witch to teach you- you don't get infected by it.  You will still have the two witches from the game( you probably will need to de-witchify them) - bad thing will be the witch NPC's but I'm sure Two-Jeffs will update the Visiter Hack that will allow you to bannish them.
100  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: So, why do you suppose my sim can ONLY make evil toys? on: 2008 August 19, 02:02:32
Hmm. I can't. I can't cheat in that way. Water Wigglers or bathtubs only.

As far as I can tell, stinky pet fur and stinky pet mouth are not one and the same, and I just couldn't go through with it.

I have a great dog washing cheat( of sorts) but it was from a site that no longer exists- it is a fire hydrant that the dog can activate automously.  I love it and it looks cute too.  I wish that site didn't go under it had some cool things. Cry
