The instructions in the FAQ only apply to Seasons and below, because I haven't yet got BV, and don't plan to until my PC gets an upgrade that will allow it to run the game faster than an image slideshow. If someone wants to provide a quick summary of the process for BV, I'll add it to the FAQ, but I'm not rereading this thread to find it.

Try installing HijackThis, get a log file, and attach the log file to your post. Once we understand exactly what processes are running on your PC, we can figure out what the borked one is, and how to uninstall it.

Are you trying to use the menu on the phone, or the menu on the sim? With Pets, EA broke phone plugins, so it had to be moved to the sim menu.

There isn't. Mine is English UK, bought in the UK, and I can't say that I remember having to enter that (or any) cheat with the exact capitalization either.

I don't have Bon Voyage, and the game hasn't worked properly for me in months (VISTA!!! ). I don't even use this mod in my game, I simply reposted it due to SexySims 2 accidentally deleting all of their downloads, and the resulting amount of spam that caused in the Podium. So I am not the best person to ask for penis tech support.

Trudy is right about one thing: Syberspunk's BV compatibility list is not showing up on Google. However, searching using the MATY search (for "bon voyage syberspunk") lists it as the first result.

EDIT: If you keep getting no results, check that you are searching all of MATY, and not just one subforum.

Those exist in real life, I've seen one at some motorshow somewhere (possibly Silverstone). Only the one I saw had leopard print covering and a coffee table.

If it's in the Bon Voyage directory, it's compatible. Syberspunk has a sticky thread listing which of his hacks are compatible.

Pescado's hacks are named so that you can mostly figure out what they mean from the filename:

Expensive NPCs - Makes NPCs more expensive.
Interest Loss Hack - Stops the interest losses from certain actions.
No ADHD - Removes ADHD (Sims repeatedly stopping and starting an activity).
No Assignment Litter - Stops Sims from leaving assignments all over the lot.
No Dining with Scum - Stops scum (townies?) trying to dine with your Sims.
No Dormie Regen - Stops dormies regenerating.
No Driveway Shuffle - Stops Sims shuffling round the car because they've forgotten which door to get into.
No Undead Dormies - Guarantees that your Uni students will not become the victim of a brains hungry zombie/blood hungry vampire.
Private School Bill Fix - Charges for Private School.
RPS Hack - Fixes the Rock, Paper, Scissors interaction.
Shoo No Break Group - Shooing no longer breaks the group.
Tombstone Move Fix - Fixes a bug related to moving tombstones.

I've forgotten quite a few of the details, but that's good enough for now. In future, try restricting your search to The Podium and all of FFS Hacks & Support.

For Pets (or Seasons, can't remember which), s/he created a sockpuppet account. The thread promptly had Goatse links posted in it, as would be expected. It's a pity that s/he hasn't turned up for BV begging, I was going to use spidercock,jpg as the deterrent this time (although beecock.jpg would probably work better, but that should probably be saved for [L&P]EP7).

There's been a media frenzy over here purely because of Madeline McCann. Or rather, her parents not realizing that it is a bad idea to leave your children (with a collective age of 7) in a hotel room unattended with the door unlocked. For some reason, the media has given massive amounts of sympathy to the parents, instead of condemning them, while the parents have been flying around the world in a donated private jet in an attempt to raise awareness (and get more money out of her disappearance). We'll never hear the end of it, regardless of if she was snatched, wandered off and got in an accident somehow, or if the parents killed her. Hell, some papers over here haven't stopped talking about Princess Diana yet, and that was 10 years ago.
