I've installed this super patch all 1.2gb but now the game is crashing all the time, anyone else suffering from this or do I have other problems?

The only mods I have are AM and the Overwatch one and they are the most recent. Troubleshooted as suggested but could'nt find any answers apart from reset sim, might give that a try or just live with the fact that my male sim cannot bear to stand beside his wife !

I've got this jump bug but its not related to travel as my sims have not travelled nor are they trying to sleep. It only happens when I make romantic choices then the sim that I have chosen to follow throw with the action will make out/kiss then jump about 3 sim feet away, this has only happened after I installed Generations I have read this topic and various others on different forums but they all relate to the sleep jump is this related in any way or a totally new bug ?

The cars were disappearing from my active household but I think my problem was too many parking spots, I had 4 in a large garage now I have just 2 and its seems ok

I've got the same problem no matter how many cars and motorbikes I give my sims they just disappear, so I came here looking for answers 

Thanks for the info did'nt have the night and day shoes in the launcher but I did have a randon kimono which appeared from somewhere, I deleted that and it seemed to do the trick so whether the shoes were attached to that I have no idea, just another weird thing to do with cc

I know this subject has already been discussed where the baby is born wearing those annoying boots called night and day something or other, but my problem is a little different.  I uninstalled Late Night because of some lag issues and everything seemed to be ok added back in some cc still everything seemed ok. Then one of my sims had a baby with these boots, went into edit sim and tried to remove them but ctd. I have gone through every folder in the game to try and find these boots but of course the only cc in the folders is what I have just re-installed not the boots, is there any way apart from a total re-install to remove them ?

does anyone else have to re-install the cc through the launcher all the time or just me ?

I've had the freezing on teaching the toddler to talk, it has nothing to do with awesome as I don't have it (sorry!).

I downloaded 1 lot from TSR no others and I'm so fed up of the damn doll, my fault I suppose for using TSR but the doll is not mentioned at all in the downloads folder.  So the only way is to check the dbc files then, as I not that computer savvy I don't want to mess around with them I think I'm just going to have to do it my way.  So I don't have any lots from MTS and just the one from tsr which I deleted do I only need to check all of my downloads or just tsr ?

Creepy doll has left the building, stupidly did'nt check the installed content until I was told so thank you. My stupidity and I will go back to lurking for now.

So back to the doll, I've deleted the file from the dc backup folder, taken out the mods folder, deleted the lot which I thought it was from, checked the downloads folder (its not a named download and I would'nt have downloaded it by choice) and its still there, is there any other way of finding it apart from deleting and re-installing all the downloads?  I only have 3 .dbc files and I have'nt installed those

I've still got the doll in my game after deleting the package in dc backup and deleting all the cache files is there another folder where it would lurk ?

Never mind I just deleted the lot and am hoping that does the trick

I've just had to re-install, and now I'm fully patched and awaiting ambitions.  So to double check  I don't need to put the d3xd9_31dll file in my base and expansion game bins and I create a new mods folder in 'my documents' with a resource cfg. file and the package files should work ? Trying my best not to be sceptical.

Sorry it took so long for me reply no everything was lost on the old hard drive these are all new games, but I've gone through a windows repair to try and see if that makes any difference as I don't think this is a sims problem so crossed fingers.

Yeah I'm thinking its the computer rather than a sims problem, I've only had this hard drive a month because my last one crashed and burned but I only have the sims on it and microsoft office so thats why I assumed that it was probably a sims problem.  As to games it is various places not a specific one.  Thanks anyway guys I think I might just need a new computer or at least this one looked at.

See you cannot resist the smart remarks, I know I was asking for them and yes I'm pretty lucid for 110.  As for the sims yes I have both expansion packs with up-to-date patches and do not alternate between them. The only thing that I can think that is causing this problem is the cc but I use Dephy's dashboard to check packages so I assumed everything there was ok.

edit: If for some reason my system decides to restore to a previous point would this affect my save files? 

Is there anyone who might be able to help me with my problem.  I play sims 3 normally with only awesome mod and a fair bit of cc but every now and again I cannot load games which I have been playing because it says that they were saved with a previous expansion pack, I have found that these ones do not create a backup file which seems to be the only difference there is.  Any help gratefully received as I have put this question on the ea site with no answer at all.

Its has taken me a while to pluck up the courage to put a topic here so please no grammar or sarcastic remarks, because I reckon I'm about twice your age and I'm only asking for help.

I pretty sure its from the patch I don't have AM ! But I have seen this in game, have no idea about the numbers though.

I have edited my resource file and now it says its a text file how do I amend the file and still keep it a cfg file ?
