Title: Sea Breeze Heights - third in my Maxis only series
Post by: gethane on 2006 September 29, 02:01:07

Sea Breeze Heights is perfectly situated on a 2x2 lot and makes the most out of the space available. For only $145k this San Francisco style home includes a driveway, an outdoors entertaining area, basement, and first and second floors. A luxury master bedroom/bath suite makes every day feel like a vacation. 2 BR, 3 BA

Only 11 bushes on the lot, and all can be trimmed by either your gardening-loving sims or a gardener. Lot has been playtested by a couple with a baby for almost 2 sim weeks. Though no baby toys are included, they can be placed either in the single BR or downstairs in the downstairs hall area.

No custom content other than the three maxoid_monkey items I link to. No family. No hacks.

Diagonal bed? Does that actually work properly?

/me hasn't tried diagonal beds since the base game came out

Well, singles work better than doubles. I won't do a double on the diagonal cause it looks weird, they stand in the bed.

The sims do occasionally walk through the single on the diaganol. If that bothers you, the room works fine to move the bed straight and switch the endtable with the plant and the bed (putting the bed between the dresser and endtable). I like the room with the diagonal, so I just live with the occasional walkthrough. It's kinda like the chairs vs loveseats and couches thing.

I'm impressed with the stairway. That's a neat little twist on the multi-level design. :)

Okay it works, but:

A. §1,000,000,000 odd?!?! How're my sims supposed to afford that!?
B. I try and load the house just to look in it, and the loading gets stuck halfway through.

:) Just saying. :)

Anyway I hope my sims like it (if they can afford it that is!)!!!

Something glitched in the install; the price should be 145,000, not 1,000,000!

Delete the house and get a new copy from the SimBin.
If that doesn't work, delete the house from both the neighborhood and the SimBin and reinstall from the Sims2Pack file.

-gasp!-

A builder that acutally playtests before sharing?! And the house is gorgeous from the pictures!
 Omg.. I love you.

Pardon me while I go downloading!
