Title: Deleted a maxis mesh! How can I get it back without reinstall?
Post by: KinwatsaZ on 2009 April 20, 04:37:20
::)  So here is what I did,  I did this,  I am stupid!  :'(
I deleted a shirt from men's clothing...it was a Maxis shirt,  not CC.  And my dolls,   all male dolls ,  now have no body, just a head floating around like a balloon.    Is there any way to get just the folder or file restored for just the default body meshes (Maxis) ??

I hate to have to do a complete new re-install, but I will if I have to.    Suggestions?   Anyone? ???

Jesus is punishing you because of how you treat your space bar.

As if it were not bad enough that my team just dropped their second straight of the series, now some moron who plays with all male dolls claims to have deleted a maxis mesh.

*hits the smite button

Boom!  Male dolls go bye-bye in fiery ball of stupid.

Is the file in your Recycle Bin?  If so, try to restore the file.  Otherwise, find the file you deleted on your disk or arr version, and put it back.  Failing this, you could do a system restore (if you have a valid system restore point).

I would play the hood with the balloonhead boys for a while, just for lulz.  Hey, it's something different.

Thank you for claiming to be stupid.  Your comment is gratuitous and unnecessary.  We are perfectly capable of coming to this conclusion without your assistance.

You're going to have to do the entire reinstall/repatch thing. Neener, neener. That's what you get for not setting your install to readonly.
