Pet food always smells and looks so appetizing...Like...chunks of MEAT, in a shiny gravy, as long as you don't take too much of a whiff of it, it does smell yum...when I was a kid, my grandparents yorkie was on a special diet, and he had this prescribed food, he had this odd rice and vegetable combo, warmed in the microwave (I've never EVER seen a dog eat rice other than then...) and half a can of Caesar...always made my mouth water....

Katenigma, cheers muchly, but I actually have that backed up somewhere on an external hard drive......it's just the finding it that's the problem...>.< Thanks for the offer though! Cheesy

I don't like most of the Louis skins, or the Enayla ones for that matter. They are skillfully done, and many of them are quite beautiful, but to me they look unrealistic and overly 'drawn' - sort of shiny and dirty at the same time. Real skin doesn't have so many shade-variations in it, plus shadows and highlights change based on ambient lighting. To have them rendered directly onto the skin (or the clothing, or the hair) just looks weird and extremely fake to me. Except for the 'Barbie and Ken' effect, I think the Maxis skins look much more realistic, although I don't understand why the breasts on the darker skins are so much lighter than on the rest of the body. Are they supposed to be tan-lines? Undecided

I have the same misgivings, personally...Beautiful and wonderfully done as they are, they look...oily. And I don't like the hyper-definition they give to the face, they way they change the shape of the facial features and such... I like using default replacements that look like Maxis tones, with 'bits'. Forget whose I used, I'm playing vanilla-ish...
I guess the breasts on the darker skins are lighter to show some kind of definition, or something? Dunno...hehe

(edited cos I miss out words...>.<)

I used the EA 'Link' to download th holiday pack, last year, then, being a renegade, got rid of the accursed downloader, and all worked shiny and fine for me...Of course, my hard drive crashed last week, and I had to deal with it once more, to reinstall...and now it constantly spams me with oh-so-exciting updates and waargh.

On the spyware issue, I tend to agree with KevinTMC, the fact that it's there leaves kind of a bad taste in my mouth, but I generally bask in the knowledge that I'm considerably not-awesome, and out of millions of players worldwide, EA don't really give a damn about the specifics of my doings, or about sabotaging my poor ropey computer, so I can't buy their games anymore...

I belive it's a cultural thing.  I'm sure that many of our friends "across the pond" are wondering why the hell this is such a fiery debate

Well, they are a lot more open about these things in Europe, but if you ask me it doesn't make them hate their bodies any less.

As a Brit, and also a mother, I'm gonna say things. Cos I can. Seeing people breastfeed in public makes me uncomfortable. I like breasts, they look pretty, they're nice to touch. I entirely support brestfeeding, it's excellent for the baby, of course, and all this, hooray for breastfeeding, I am in no way putting it down. But nonetheless, seeing people breastfeeding in public makes me uncomfortable.

I was never brestfed as a child, my mother was on medication that would have made it very much not good for me, and I'll admit now, I tried breastfeeding my daughter for only a few weeks, she was a mean little sod, who chewed with her little baby gums and made my nipples bleed, and I only ever did it at home, even if friends were round but never in public, so I'm not really a leading expert on it. Fact is though, because of the culture, mostly brought about in the 50's and 60's (my mother and her sisters were never breastfed either, simply cos my grandma didn't think it was 'nice', whihc I understand was a fairly common thing at the time) of breasts being a sexual thing, I just don't know where to look when a woman whips out her tit and latches a baby onto it.
Because boobies *giggles scandallously* are normally something hidden away, your eye is natrally drawn to one if it's exposed. Also, I dunno if it's just me, but I get that thing guys at urinals do or don't have, where I want to compare, but like I said, maybe that's just me. Problem is, of course, feeding babies is what they're there for, it's the best way to feed babies, all of the above pro-breastfeeding things. Which makes it entirely inappropriate to want to look. And that is why I find it uncomfortable to see women breastfeeding in public. Not cos of any 'EEek, shock, howrude, boobs!!!' issue, or cos I think formula is better, or ANYTHING like that, just...cos of society, here in Britain almost as much as over there, it's got a stigma aattatched.

It's a shame, but Ima have to sit on the side of 'Yes, it's lovely and natural, but I don't want to have to see it'.

O, and the fact that this mod exists makes me happy...>.> Hehe...

Ugh, what IS it with Maxis and their sick hat obsession? Personally, none of my sims are behatted, if I wanted to see chavs and old people, I'd look out of my window, plenty of ugly hats there...>.>
And the FFS hats are particularly ugly, from what I've seen...

And I don't want to crap up my game even more, for the sake of some ugly hats. And also some stuff. I can crap up my game with STUFF for free, thankyouverymuch.

Holy hell. Burn it. BURN IT NOW. It's going to destroy them all. THEM.

They do say BLEH. An awful lot. And are a delicious shade of blue.

Was it mentioned that they say BLEH?
