151  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / RECOLOURABLE The Big Cheese Coat Rack on: 2011 March 16, 16:06:21
This is NOT a default replacement.

I couldn't understand why EA didn't make the hat or coat recolourable as well as the post so I did.

The only things I changed were to add two extra channels with four presets and remove it from the sculptures catagory. It's only in Decor>Misc. now.

152  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Store Stuff Made Shiftable: Update 3/03 on: 2011 March 16, 15:52:22
Any plans for adding the Store shelving to this? I noticed yesterday that the base game shelving moves but hadn't realised the store shelving items weren't included in this.
153  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 March 08, 17:03:32
You need to search more. I'll give you a headstart; decrapify.
154  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store Items Becoming Black Spheres/Blobs on: 2011 February 15, 16:36:29
Well the effected beds have always worked correctly in my game before, and as I said originally, this still happens with all mods removed.
I did have what you mention at one point though and quickly realised what the issue was that time. I decrapped the files and the issue was gone.

ETA so as not to double post.
Reinstalling the effected sets WITHOUT uninstalling first results in the black blob objects being corrected but any with broken textures remain so.
Reinstalling the effected sets WITH uninstalling first, including the patterns, appears to have corrected both the blob objects and texture issues. I also deleted the CompositorCache file this time round.
155  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store Items Becoming Black Spheres/Blobs on: 2011 February 15, 14:55:44
The first time I noticed this was last year when I first started using Clara's Unlocked Stencil files. The storybook column turned into a blob and I just uninstalled it thinking it conflicted somehow.
The next time was about a month ago when the main wall piece from the Castle Kit became a blob. The rest of the set was fine. I fixed that by reinstalling the set through the TSR Launcher. I didn't uninstall it first but the game did not alert me to it already being installed.
Then, earlier this week, some patterns stopped showing and quite a few objects were blobs. Okay, so I only actually checked the Beds catagory but three of them were blobs and two had missing patterns.

I'm going to attempt to correct the issue by reinstalling them and then be a lot more selective of the content I install as opposed to all of it.
156  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Store Items Becoming Black Spheres/Blobs on: 2011 February 14, 23:21:39
I searched and couldn't find anything relevant so here goes.

The last time I played my game I noticed that some of the patterns which came with Store items were no longer showing but they still took up a space on the CASt panel. I decided to track down which items used them with a plan to then try to reinstall them to see if they were restored.
It was during going through the Buy catalogue that I noticed quite a few of the Store items had now become black spheres! As well as other items now with broken textures as their patterns are missing.

Is there anything specific that causes this? Have I just got too much content for my game to handle so it's deciding to dump parts of it?

I've seen it happen before with the odd object here and there and either uninstalled or reinstalled it. I've not done anything to my dcdb files in months so I know I've not screwed anything up there. This is happening with and without mods installed.
157  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2010 December 27, 22:48:42
Is there a mod available that allows ANY Sim to join the book club and not just Bookworms? I thought there was but I haven't been able to find one and when I attempted to make one myself it had absolutely no noticable effect on the game.
158  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 December 20, 11:45:02
Well no worries there. I've opted for the creature painting thing at MTS. I tried Ctrl-shift-click options but never saw anything relating to creatures/occult.
159  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 December 15, 18:32:19
Okay, as far as I understand, with AM SP active the game will not spawn vampires. Correct?
If so, how do I go about creating a vampire? I would like a few in my worlds but don't know how to create them if none exist to begin with. Is there a command I need to use or must I load Bridgeport and befriend/export one from there?
160  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Outdoor Lighting Tweaks v1.5 on: 2010 December 01, 19:28:41
I think I got it tweaked how I want now thanks. I've changed it so that the sun isn't allowed so close to the horizon. I think the funky shadows were being created because the light source appeared to be coming from below the horizon in the one particular area with the issues.
161  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Outdoor Lighting Tweaks v1.5 on: 2010 November 27, 23:45:52
Dunno if the OP is still checking this thread but I wanted to know what value I would need to change if I want the altered colour settings but not the altered shadows. I think the mod is fantastic but in the worlds I'm playing the extended shadows are causing some funky results which are creating a lot of floating tree shadows on rock faces.
The night shadows don't seem to be radiating from the direction of the moon either.
162  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 13, 20:16:02
Are you sure you are decrapping them first? The answers are out there if you search.
163  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 13, 19:30:46
In which case I'm screwed. When it comes to internal number references I get completely lost.
164  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 13, 10:10:25
Hmm, well all I changed in the '2' versions was the name reference inside the file slightly.
In the original file the 'Unknown 7' value points to 'SculptureWallStockings'.
In the first fixes I made I changed that to 'SculptureWallVegasNeonSign'.
In these latest files I changed the name to 'SculptureWallVegasNeonSign_batch9'. They seemed to work in my game but I don't think I remembered to clear the cache before trying them.
Probably just best to stick with the attempts previous.
165  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 12, 19:03:18
Welll I doubt it's the doggy present as I DO have that one in my game. The only item I can see from the original Christmas set that uses all of the default colours is the stockings. None of the other items are even made of material.

Here are two slightly altered versions
http://www.4shared.com/file/cNo8MtzZ/MM_NeonFix2.html
http://www.4shared.com/file/XKHxwiq_/MM_NeonFixNONDecrap2.html
I doubt they will make any difference but it's worth a try.
166  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 12, 18:38:16
Red brushed cotton appears to be the default colour.

Okay, so it's the stockings causing my fix to fail? That would be why I didn't know as I don't have them installed. I'll try and take a deeper look at the info included in the Lagomorph Neon file. I'm a real beginner when it comes to internal file workings so there may be something else that needs to be altered which I am not aware of.
167  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 12, 14:56:41
Goddamnit! I really have no idea what to try now then seeing as it is working for some people and not for others. I'll have another mess about later anyway.
Have you tried removing your DCCache and DCBackup and installing JUST the lagomorph file and seeing if the fix works? That's how I've been testing it.
168  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 12, 13:03:56
Here we go again.
Give this file a try. This should be a NON-decrapped version. Thanks for the advice Heli.

169  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 11, 23:50:35
Well here is the file that I have been installing and therefore creating my 'fix' package from > http://www.4shared.com/file/aWIHTrdv/sculptureWallVegasNeonSign.html

Here's hoping it works.
170  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 11, 22:07:55
Okay, here's another attempt at a decrapped version> http://www.4shared.com/file/TEK1Aryq/MM_NeonFix.html

I haven't managed to make a non-decrapped version as I don't know how to open a non-decrapped file. If I try I just get told S3PE can't open it as it is in DBPP format instead of DBPF (or whichever way round that is).
171  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 November 11, 19:35:11
I assume it means that SC has been updated to recognise and utilise the new LN skills such as Mixology, not that brand new skills have been created.
172  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 11, 12:12:25
I intend on doing so tonight when I try to create a working version.
I'm going to remove my DCCache and DCBackup and then install the Lagomorph again. The file I plan on using is my legit version from my Store history to try and make a legit fix file. Then I will decrap the file and try to make a fix for that after once again removing the cache files.
173  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 11, 11:45:18
So people are getting duplicate entries with this? I'll take a look tonight after work.
I wondered if my messing with the dcdb file had made it function in my version but I double checked and it still includes the wrong entries so this file is correcting my install.
I'm new to all this so I'm still trying to get my head around it as I go along.
174  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 10, 20:19:04
It should be. First I need to figure out why this works in my game but isn't doing in Decker's game.
175  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Lagomorph In Neon Texture Fix on: 2010 November 09, 19:10:22
Have you tried deleting your cache files?
