TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / 3rd Generation Prius Texture Replacement. Help Needed.

God I hope I'm submitting this in the right place.
I want to replace the texture of the 3rd generation Prius that EA made available as I strongly dislike the fact that it has no number plate on the rear. I have extracted the textures from the relevant dcdb file, made my edits and then imported them into a new .package file. The result is that the replacement only works in the catalogue preview. The little rotating image shows the changes but when the car is placed the textures are as they have always been. Yes, I have been deleting the cache files before testing my files. Still nothing. I've attached the file if anyone wants to take a look and see what I'm doing wrong. Or just so you can have a good giggle to yourselves.

I think the file you are after is called 'ShimrodsStereoElectronicaFix'
That's the one, although now that I've tried it, I've hit an annoying problem with it. In a room with more than one wall speaker, each speaker's playing a different track! You haven't unwired them by mistake have you? Nope. Shimrod's admitted on MTS it's a problem because of the way the XML's structured and the only solution is to have one speaker on the lot. This would be fine if I was trying to play custom music on a small lot, but this is a 30x30 nightclub and even a speaker with its audio set to high only fills a small area with sound. Ah well. I haven't come across that yet. Does it only affect the custom music channel? I ask as I know I have a disco lot with four speakers set to Pop and they all play the same track.

WCIF a mod to hide/remove the option to 'tinker' with stuff?
Is it really that hard to avoid performing a non-autonomous action? Intenionally avoiding it, not hard at all. Accidentally is anothing matter. I mis-click it for another option from time to time, so I wondered if there was a mod to hide/remove it. That's easily solved by reading what you are about to click on before doing so. Pause the game if need be.

I've not had any issues with content going missing but I must admit that certain wall objects from two seperate sets cause my game to lock up if I attempt to read the catalogue description and view other preset options. If I drag them straight out of the catalogue they work fine. As it is I have actually uninstalled them with no intention of putting them back. I believe one was a dragon and rabbit wall plaque thing from the Year of the Rabbit set and the other was the modern art wall deco item from the Mid Century set.

I'm checking up on it now, as someone gifted me the estate fence and the smaller gate a long time ago. Extracting the two simspacks into package format gives you 10 individual packages though, so I am not hopeful.
Edit: Yeah, they just combined all their old fences into one file. Here's untouched versions of the simspacks if anyone else wants to experiment with them. So the packs still install multiple non-CASTable versions? Wow, EA, what an upgrade.
