76  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: LTR scores not going up on: 2007 January 08, 21:33:45
I think it depends whether sims have any interests in common. If they don't, they don't get a RL, they won't even meet, if they have some in common they'll get the 0 one, and if they have al lot in common they'll get a higher RL, and a longer chat session.
77  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Screening maternitywear? on: 2006 December 31, 20:04:26
I might have to get that hack.  I never realized some meshes showed the "bump"!

Can someone tell me roughly which ones do that?  Are they the same ones that properly morph for fat Sims?

There's no easy way to tell which skins do and which skins don't show the bump, you'll have to try them in-game with a pregnant sims. It usually depends on the creator of the original mesh. Most clothes from All About Style and Sussi So Good Sims have the pregnant morph included. Most maxis skins don't have it, except for the workout clothes and maybe a few others.
78  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Change sunset / sunrise length on: 2006 December 31, 12:19:46
mmm, if this works, I'm definitly changing this to something like .01 second. My game always lags during sun set/rise, though luckily I can pause the game whilst the transition continues.
79  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Screening maternitywear? on: 2006 December 31, 12:16:07
It says right on the page where you download the mod from that it only works with sleepwear, underwear, and swimwear - NOT everyday clothing. I thought it seemed like a nifty mod too, until I read that little caveat, then promptly decided that it was useless to me.

Unless you download the mod (by squinge, I think?) that allows pregnant sims to wear everyday clothing...
80  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Crammyboy for females? on: 2006 December 17, 12:13:45
The problem with those is that they're clothing overlays, so when taking a shower they take them off, and thus apppear completely bald again.

I've tried to locate this Paradise Sims website, but either the site is down or my google isn't giving me the right adress, so not luck there.

My female sims have nipples and pubic hair, as long as I use the Maxis default skins. I use a package called mydefaultnudesfemale.package (24MB), can't remember where it came from. AllenABQ?

I haven't been able to locate this package, I did come across this though: http://www.sexysims2.com/showthread.php?t=167320 . Not exactly what I wanted, all skintones have the same colour pubic hair, but at least it uses Louis' skintone, so it'll have to do for now.

EDIT: found it: http://www.sexysims2.com/showthread.php?t=167225
81  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Crammyboy for females? on: 2006 December 16, 14:01:43
Isn't there something with just hair in different colors and nipples? No further details necessary.

That is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. I'm not interested in anatomically correct vulva's, I'd just like my female sims to not look so 'incomplete'. I use Lin's edition of Louis' skintones, and they have nothing, they're total barbie dolls.
82  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Crammyboy for females? on: 2006 December 15, 10:57:31
No, I'm not looking for a way to ad a penis to my female sims pervs!

I was wondering if there is a mod out there that will allow me to pick different colours of pubic hair for females, in the same way that Crammyboy's penis does for males. Seeing my males anatomically correct, but my females 'bald as a barbie' gives me the shudders. And downloading 16 skintones all with a different skin coulour/hair colour combination would be madness.

I would ask Crammy himself, but he seems to have wandered off somewhere. So, awesome members of MATY, is there any hope for my female Sims, or are they doomed to spend their pointless lives looking as slick as a bowling ball? (okay, I suck at metaphors, so eat me!)
83  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Face Templates - "I'm a Dumbass" Edition [14 December] on: 2006 December 15, 09:46:31
Eleonora, you must be hot!

Cheesy I guess so, but I wear my grumpy face most of the time, so it isn't that noticeable  Tongue
84  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Face Template Replacements - Testers Wanted - INCOMPLETE Beta [9 July] on: 2006 December 14, 13:51:19

I've spent the past few months working intermittently on perfecting face #2. A couple of days ago I declared her finished. Huzzah!

Wow, just wow. Somehow, you have managed to recreate my face with almost pinpoint accuracy  Shocked . I'll only need to tweak the nose angle and eye shape a little and voila, sim-me. And I must say the rest of your templates are looking fabulous (except for that male #2 conversion that didn't really turn out well Tongue ) I know it's kinda late but I came her to support you and I beg you to please finish this project. I'm sure you'd be making a lot of people very happy.

Edit: don't forget to spell-check kids!
85  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: This mod looks interesting on: 2006 December 09, 15:37:06
I thought it was-in the case of the headmaster scenario anyway. If I get a sim with high charisma skill to schmooze and talk to the HM, he always seems to accept with the little '++' signs over his head. Maybe he has a different code for accepting socials.

I've found that teenage girls will always do the trick. My headmasters never seem to accept any schmoozing from the parents, but as soon as you let an underage girl do it, the score shoots up.  Roll Eyes

Edited for stupidity  Embarrassed
86  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Tutorial: Clean custom neighbourhoods + townie creation (pre-Pets only!) on: 2006 December 02, 00:56:56
eeeeeh ... I don´t understand. Sorry!

I thought that the Suburb001.package was something that came with Pets ... is it not  Huh

Rose

If you have OFB every new shopping district you create makes a new suburb_00X file. So if you had 2 OFB districts before you installed pets, pets will create a suburb_003 file. That's the one you need to copy. If you don't have any OFB districts than the suburb_001 file is the file created by pets.
87  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pooof! The dying's vanishes! on: 2006 December 01, 17:02:14
This occasionally happens in my game too. When I'm getting sick of my townies I usually teleport 3 or 4 over and kill them off using the death creator. The game's fine when I only kill two in a row, grimmy just floats to next body as soon as he finishes the first. But when I kill more at once quite frequently one of those sims will just simply disappear without a trace, no tombstone no nothing. Which kinda sucks, 'cause how else am I supposed to fill my cemetaries?
88  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Tutorial: Clean custom neighbourhoods + townie creation (pre-Pets only!) on: 2006 December 01, 16:47:54
only if the suburb_001 is the only suburb you have. You need to copy the latest created, that's the one that's added with petz. If you already had a suburb you'd just be copying your old one.

90  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: No Stray Respawns on: 2006 November 30, 22:56:38
Did you let the stupid dialog sit on the screen for a while (2-5 min) or kill it almost immediately?  Since all the new stuff in Pets seems to take a dog's age, I'd expect it to take well over a minute to decide what to do.

Tongue Well I went to do the dishes, and when I returned it was still frozen. Restarted my computer, tried agian, same outcome. I've just given up on adopting and only but pets from community lots.
91  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: No Stray Respawns on: 2006 November 30, 15:09:16
I've had this problem aswell. I played a pre-pets hood with the correct N00x_suburbx file added, so that it had no strays in it. But calling the adoption agent made my game freeze indefinitly and I had to exit with CtrlAltDelete. I haven't tried taking out nostrayrespawn, because Im worried that my game might generate those 50+ standard strays.
92  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: A question. About poo. on: 2006 November 26, 15:38:46
I've had it happen to my sims several times, and they used the flaming bags of poo as pretty centerpieces on their dining room tables! Cheesy

Sounds like my legacy family. They have a flaming bag displayed on their porch, along with a 'statue' of a broken-down servo  Cheesy
93  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Syberspunke Archives / Re: Pets - Move in fix on: 2006 November 25, 00:11:58
Pinhead mentioned in the MTS2 thread that he will not be updating his hack but will leave it to Squinge  Roll Eyes

Thaks for the fix anyways.
94  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets compatibility for crammyboy hacks: Definitive calls? on: 2006 November 15, 16:54:40
I use NoForceWatchFight with petz, and so far haven't experienced any problems. My Asylum sims will gladly ignore their fighting housemates.
95  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Tutorial: Clean custom neighbourhoods + townie creation on: 2006 November 11, 17:47:52
Just thought I'd share my experience with Petz.
I renamed the Program Files\...~...\Neighbourhood Template folder, and installed 'no stray respawn', hoping that my game wouldn't spawn the usual bunch of strays. The results were somewhat interesting. The stray part seems to have worked, so far I have not seen any strays on any of my lots. No wolves were present either, my game generated one after about an hour of gameplay.
Some parts were less succesfull; the Crittur and Roseland family had been spawned, and the standard 3 animal cops and 2 obedience trainers too. Also, when phoning the pet adoption, I got the same list op pets as in my other hood, where I had not renamed the Neighbourhood Template folder.

EDIT: Sod it, karma is a bitch. Renaming that folder seems to have FUBAR'ed my hood. 3 sim minutes after loading my lot, lo and behold, little black doggie Grace walks by, the same friggin stray that all my other hoods have. Apparently all strays did spawn I was just lucky enough to not see them for a long time. But it gets worse. Pissed off, I load a different hood, one that had already spawned all petz stuff whilst the folder was NOT renamed. And my bloody game starts creating all that stuff all over again! Now I have two of everything, strays, Critturs, and those blasted pre-made families in their fugly houses  Angry RAAH!
96  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: missing expansion packs = missing Life Time Wants? on: 2006 November 05, 13:31:45
I can confirm this. During my last re-install I left out uni, and I haven't got a full set of LTW either. The " x college graduates/ x lovers/ x woohoos/ 7 max skills" LTW all require uni. Which sucks because I get tired of my romance sims not aspiring to be greatest sluts ever anymore, I have enough celebrity chefs in my neighbourhood thank you very much. Angry
97  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone have Simcribbling's skintones? on: 2006 November 03, 10:06:06

They also have a nice set of replacement eyes without the borders around them that 99.99999% of cc creators who make eyes use. This way they don't look funny when they look to the side, up, down or in the cinema scenes when their eyes get real wide.

Which set would this be? I have one now that I really like (Obscure eyes from MTS2) but those borders around them are staring to creep me out!
98  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Toddlers' throw up fear on: 2006 October 22, 13:12:50
Yeah, I'm 100% sure. Must be a hack conclict on my side, probably something's clashing with my selfwork-out hack (or whatever it's called).
99  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Toddlers' throw up fear on: 2006 October 22, 13:09:01
It's the same thing with the "get fit" want. No matter how long my sims spend excercising the want never gets fulfilled. I just do it manually by ctrl-clicking it in debug mode.
100  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets EP questions... on: 2006 October 20, 21:18:50
well, you'll probably need the 'snapobjectstogrid false' cheat as well, to place things in the correct position.
