26  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: No censor hack for TS3 on: 2009 May 27, 14:07:20
Also in regards to pregnancy; can pregnant sims not woohoo? I was trying to get my sim to woohoo with her boyfriend, but for the life of me I couldn't get the option to appear. Their status was at irresistible and both were pretty green.
Well, in real life, such an act would be both purposeless and counterproductive, since the baby would be unlikely to survive.

This is SO not true. IRL normal people do woohoo during pregnancy  Wink Why on Earth would one suddenly become a nun after getting knocked up? Ask your doctor: you may and even should - it's healthy for the relationship.

The concern is not for the health of the relationship.  The statement merely notes that there is no pragmatic, productive result possible once babby is already made.  No further babby is possible during the pregnancy, so woohoo is unnecessary.  Sim relationships do not require woohoo to survive.

Pes was refering to Real Life.
Anyway for the Sims woohoo is even more purposeful: it gives boost to relationship. Much bigger boost than chat, less timeconsuming than chat too. Relationships decay VERY fast in TS3 so I'll take what I must. Besides I like to play realistic, so woohoo while pregnant is expected. And they can and they do.

The whole genetics is a pile of steaming poo. My CAS made sims (so no parents, OK?) a blonde and a redhead had one child with fathers red hair (including highlights etc.) and then went and popped out a brown haired boy. WTF?

Edit: It was live witnessed birth. I played only this family and never once switched away. The only difference: second child was born after I loaded the saved game (the ONLY saved game) after a normal shutdown.

At the moment (since BV through to FT) Original Harder jobs don't work as advertised anyway. Every sim who was waiting to become a Mayor got promoted straight away after installing BV. And more keep getting promoted.
I admit it might be due to the fact that I am using Inteenimated Pets0jobfixes.
Did anybody notice that without Inteen?

Ooops. Sorry, my fault.
Thank you for answers.

I've noticed it while testing a new mod. Any sim created after Petz installed is lacking "Scope the room" option on a community lot. If I make any other sim on this lot selectable it has this option. If it was created/born/spawned prior Petz that is.

I tested it in a custom Neibourhood and its associated downtown. With families leaving in the main hood and downtown and travelling both ways. With all the mods but MATY-made disabled.

Enabled mods: ACR, smart beds, phone hack, bring friend home & homework sometimes and critical fixes.

If it is yet another Maxis bug could it be fixed?

I'll test it with Sims born after Petz when they grow up.

One of my townies got FAT after using dance sphere on a residential lot.

Is it a bug?

If your teen has siblings, they can do each other's homework just by sending the other kid over to the homework and instructing them to do it.  I think they have to be the same age, however.

Same thing in Uni; a playable resident can do any assignment they find.
Lol, but ofcause I can. I can command my own teen do to it himself too. Dah!
But it is not what I want. I play a challenge of my own. I never make my sims do what they don't have a wish for. That is why I have every autonomy hack available. Paying or pursuading to do homework for them is a sencible workaround when they want to go to Uni but do not want to do homework. You see, I've got InTeen Admissions too, so they HAVE TO keep their grades up to get to Uni at all.

Is it possible to make a mod that allows my teens who are busy dating or having fun to persuade their studious siblings and/or friends to do homework for them? I'd like it to be a user directed option that uses influence points.
Possible variation : Pay <SimName> to do my homework.

Actually I really wouldn't mind to have them both  Tongue
