I once got some grassless flowers from  http://bienchen83.s01.user-portal.com/downloadseiten/meshes6.htm but the site is not coming up now. Does anyone know where they moved or have the grassless flowers that they can email me? lol

Thanks.

Just a Yahoo search!  First entry I came across. Just lucky I guess!  Hope you found what you were after.

And, since I'd never have known about this site (and there's some great stuff there!) if it hadn't been for you losing it, a big thank you!

Ooh! Ooh! They've got a Babystrampler! It must be something that, like, strangles babies and then tramples upon them!

German is so entertaining when you don't understand it.

* Sigh *

There's no need to be like that.  If you'll use an online translator, you'll find that "Babystrampler"  means "Baby more strampler."

It's just a way to add more strample to your baby.  Nothing werid at all.

And if that doesn't satisfy you, the helpful online translator tells us the "strample" means pedal.  So you can finally add more pedals to your baby.  You shouldn't laugh.  You should be grateful.

(How I love online translators.)

I'm sorry. That was pretty ignorant of me.

But you can trample upon the pedals, right?

Obviously, that's what pedals are for!

You can strangle them, too.

I love the way modern German is taking English words - somewhere he/she says "Ich have designed" - now that's what I do when I don't know the German word!

A "Strampler" is the toddler sleeping outfit in game dont now how it fits a Baby.  Huh

Try to translate "Strampel Anzug" in babelfish .  Grin

Since "ein Baby" is not a word indigenous to the German language, but comes from English, which is of French origin, I think it may be used slightly differently.  (Just as un enfant in French means a child, while in English we tend to think of an infant as being a baby or at most a toddler.)  Often a language adopts a word of associated though not always identical meaning from another language to fill a gap in its own, and maybe that's what's happened here.

Maybe or someone got a Babymesh without the Diaper to work and putted a Toddler Pajama Skin on it. Smiley

Actually, that does exist -- I found it over on MTS2 somewhere.  It replaces the baby diaper with a jumper. There's 4 or 5 different colors, but you can only use one color in your game at a time, since it overrides the default baby skin, and there's no way to change baby clothes in the game anyway.

I'll have to see if I can dig up a link to the file if you're interested.

Well, we call a child a baby until it's about one year old, after that it's a "Kleinkind" (toddler). I think that's quite similar to the english meaning of "baby".  Smiley

I would be interested. If anyone knows where the mod is to recolor the milk bottles on MST2, I'd appreciate it.

And here's the link to the baby jumpers.  They're pretty neat, and look much better than the stupid diaper Maxis puts them in.

I just wondered if the meaning had changed a little, as I pointed out the meaning of un enfant in French is not quite the same as "infant" in English.
