I miss the massage tables and mud baths from superstar - would make a great business opportunity as a spa/gym.

Also the ceiling light/fan and the visitors bringing cake/chocolates/pot plant.

Blue, I really sympathise - you know I lost my saved game files when I tried to reinstall mine on the new hard drive - and I haven't been able to install  properly since.  I got as far as loading the game (after umpteen attempts and copying from one hd to the other) but the damn thing froze as soon as I entered a neighbourhood.

My disks seem to be unusually hot after too - methinks a cd drive prob  Cry

Oh, well, we each play in our own way, I actually like seeing my sims sit down for a meal together.

I do too - it increases their social and it helps with relationships.  I find that soem sims will sit after they have finished eating to stay and chat.  Only problem is it takes 3 (sim) hours to finish a meal.

I would say sometime in July - around the 10th at approx 02:31.
Rainbow will then have a chance to increase the lead while venusy is away.  Any vac plans rainbow?

Personally, I'm waiting for the patch for the patch.

I thought this was the patch for the patch
59  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Family Relations on: 2006 June 16, 08:22:49
Have you seen Carrigon's new Toy oven?  Kids can fix anything in there now.

I always thought it stupid that kids weren't allowed to fix themselves a bowl of cereal.  Or that cereal and grilled cheese weren't available as options at all times.  (Now they are thanks to the food-replicator  Wink)

ROFL Grin  But sims still can't buy flowers and give them to their loved one!  Or a toy for the kids as a gift!

That is one thing I miss from TS1 too - and wouldn't it be fun for a sim to go to the shop to choose and buy an engagement ring (or other jewellery) instead of producing the same solitaire for males or females.
60  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Hello Me, Meet The Barista Me! on: 2006 June 16, 08:05:05
Doesn't make sense, really, that a gym wouldn't employ a trainer to actually give people lessons!  I'd love it if Maxis could come up with a way of sims having an aerobics class!

If your playable sim has full body points they can take a yoga class.  (and you could, for story-telling purposes, get a group of sims to *let's smustle* which would look like an aerobics class)

S'ok Smiley I thought I'd typed a  Wink at the end but I think inserting the *quote* lost it
62  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: FFS uninstalled OFB? on: 2006 June 15, 02:41:28
Sorry to hear you had probs with it Venusy - I suppose I am one of the lucky ones that has had relatively few probs with FFS.  I know I had the disc for a few weeks before I installed it (I thought about returning it to Amazon) and made sure I had a back-up.

I vaguely remember having that problem with a previous EP when it said it was uninstalling

Speak for yourself ZZ - licking ice cream can cause headaches - and licking ice lollies (popsicles to you lot over the pond) can cause your tongue to stick
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is FFS worth every penny? on: 2006 June 14, 15:50:23
We need an education career track, the fame and music careers back.

Also, why didn't we get some nice vampire friendly careers in NL?

Or a vampire hunter career for that matter?

I can understand OFB not coming with new careers, that one was about working at HOME so new careers would not of made sense.

When I read this I thought *but I have those careers in my game* then realised I have a load of hacked career options  Embarrassed

The vampire hunter career is excellent and the sim ends up as the GR.

The last 2 packs were not what was expected - more kids play things like the jungle gym from TS1 and pool accessories (not just a dumbass rubber ring swimming aid) and more interactions between kids would have been better.

I miss the costume trunk.

Yeah - I mean what's with giving your sims matching outfits and nowhere to wear them?  If you're going to look like the von trapp family when maria made them clothes out of curtains there should at least be bicycle riding  Roll Eyes

71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 'No Patch' Play - How do you feel about this? on: 2006 June 14, 14:31:09
There's probably some people out there that don't install Microsoft Windows updates because they see no need for them.  Also, these are probably the same people that think Microsoft is watching them.

Is that why I keep gettting this message?
