I've got a problem, which was probably a result of my own stupidity...

I updated to the latest patch (1.4.6) without taking my mods folder out first (didn't even think about it - now I'm paying the price).  The game started up fine, but now NONE of my mods/cc are working.  The only things that show up in the catalogue are the Store downloads.

I tried a complete reinstall (after backing up my stuff), then re-patching, but it's still not working.  I found links to the old patches at MTS, but when I patched it with the first one (they're saying to go in order), it automatically patched me to 1.4.6.

I'm about ready to kill someone from sheer frustration - any ideas?  The game DOES NOT crash - the mods and cc just aren't working.

Have you tried reinstalling the framework?

Have you deleted the cache files found under Documents, etc?

Simsample - I haven't tried that, because I have no clue how to do it.  If you could provide instruction, I'd be eternally grateful.

Chaos - Yes, I've deleted the caches numerous times.  Still not working.

Stab in the dark (and probably a silly one), but are you sure they're enabled?

How did you install the framework in the first place? If you used Delphy's monkey thing then just get it to install again. If not then get the framework from here (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15184.0.html), extract it and put it in your sims 3 directory (usually Program files\ Electronic Arts\ The Sims 3). Also, what Liz said- make sure your CC is enabled.
