1  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Run, sim, run on: 2010 June 30, 01:02:31
I really don't think this is an AM bug. People who have no mods installed say they have the running bug too. I figured sims started doing it if they were required to run. I.e., on the treadmill, jobs that have running, playing tag. Some people even said their sims started running after exiting the time machine.

I've had a sim die while on vaca in China. My computer specs are so beyond sims 3 high playability, I know it's not the problem with my game. I've even tried a completely new game and a sim would randomly die from starvation. At the time, I only had Am installed, so it seems like an EA bug.

After searching around on the Sims 3 forum, a lot of people have reported that sims and objects can randomly become stuck. The sims would just stand around and not do anything or would fall through the floor/ground and become stuck. I wonder if this is what is happening to the non-active sims. However, most of those issues did sound like processing problems . . .

Ok, so testing my first toddler and baby has brought up some issues. When I feed my toddler in the high chair (which I am using for the first time ever), the food it's being served completely disappears into the ether after being eaten. Which I thinking might explain the dirty surroundings and disgusting food moodlet my sims get whenever they go in that particular area. I deleted the high chair and tried to find the foulness but to no avail.
My toddler also seems to have some kind of supremacy over my sims, in that the toddler has to completely stop what he's doing for the family to have any kind of interaction with him. The sim's queue just disintegrates even if the toddler is just walking to the potty or activity.

Don't know if baby swarming has been dealt with but it's getting really annoying. And can sims not just sit there and "react to noisy baby." I wish they would just effin' do something about it.
Why is it that the babies take like two seconds to start screaming about a dirty diaper? I've known babies to sit in their byproducts for hours with no complaint.

A minor issue I've noticed with the drop out for school and careers is the interaction for "Meet friends/coworkers", never really seems to go away. Even if I receive a prompt saying my sim has met everyone, I'll still have the option. Sometimes it will go away and sometimes it doesn't. I have Twallan's Career Mod installed but I think it's an EA bug. . .

Don't know if this is an AM fail or WA is completely screwed but I just finished a vacation and my sims were taking forever to do simple tasks. I realized that the reason they would take forever would be because they would suddenly drop their queue if I switched over to other sims within the family. It continued to occur back on the home lot as well. Also, the foreigners would ignore their motives and I had some die from hungry if my active family didn't provide them with food. Excavating is borked too with a route fail.

On another note: I remember being able to stock fishing ponds in the home community with fish. Was it not possible to do the same on vaca lots? I tried but the fish disappeared.

For some odd reason AM is not working for me. I now only have AM and some CC, with no other mods. The game loads fine with the CC and when I had all my mods in the game.and I have the .dll in my base and all my EPs (WA+HELS+AMB) and updated my resource.cfg file. No matter where I put AM, the game won't recognize it.

Edit: Fixed. Had to delete the .dll from AMD and redownload it. Thanx for the negative encouragement Claeric.

Find this on MTS and figured I'd post it here. Some testing required. Grin

An updated version of CookingAndIngredientsOverhaul works from MTS. I was wondering if anyone has tested the Ask if Single Mod to see if it still conflicts. It says its updated but I was curious to know if it would work with Indie Stone + AwesomeMod.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / WA Bug? on: 2009 November 19, 21:34:49
I recently installed the patch and WA, and there seems to be a glitch with some of my items disappearing. I had AM but the items that disappeared (some gems and metals) didn't seem to be affected by the mod. Anyway, I noticed the items would move when placing walls on my lot and if I got to close to the edge of the lot, the metals would be stuck inbetween my lot and my neighbors. The gems, I believe, disappeared after I moved the table they were on.
Also, I have received two new challenges, Red Assassin Bug from the Science Career and Meloire Grapes from the Culinary Career. Are these items I would find in Riverview or traveling abroad?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
