Strange, I've never gotten an error 12 post 2.2.8 patch and since installing this latest AM I've gotten it twice. I don't believe it's a coincidence...
77  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 1.2.7/2.7.7/3.3.11 TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 10, 12:04:38
Using the latest AM 6/9/2010 10.35 pm I'm getting error 12 while saving.
78  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 1.2.7/2.7.7/3.3.11 TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 10, 03:35:13
I don't know what I did wrong here. All I'm saying is that you cannot say "the cars clearly tried to get into the spot, because they are turned" because the cars do not freaking turn to get into parking spaces. What is wrong about that? This is fact. This is an absolute. The cars do not turn to get into parking spaces.

Duh, guys, sims ALWAYS pull over before leaving the car when there's no parking space available. (yes it's angled because they pulled over) It's been like that since base game. Try driving a car to the beach or park or some place with no parking space and they will pull over before leaving the car, and then the car will vanish from the road and went into their inventory. I'm guessing the problem is that they don't register the driveway is there for some reason, and instead of putting it into sim's inventory, they left the car there.

Anyway the Consignment inventory issue is fixed as of AM 6/7/2010 11:43 pm build. Just saying.
Which issue is that?

1. That consignment sales don't count towards promotions.

or

2. The buy menu sometimes doesn't pull up.

No, this one:

Also, I tried to consign things at consignment store, however, the only things listed as available to sell were stuff from family inventory as opposed to sim's individual inventory. It worked fine before I added AM.

One of my sim who's getting an interior designer honor statue from the city hall always triggers a flagrant system error whenever he clicks on the building. Using another sim didn't trigger any error.

This is using the latest AM dated 6/6/2010 2:15 am.

I'm using Windows Firewall (Win7) and I've just blocked outbound connection for TS3.exe, TS3EP01.exe, TS3SP01.exe, and TS3EP02.exe. Is it enough? Do I have to block the launcher and/or inbound connections too?
83  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The definitive EA Store Set & Guide? on: 2010 May 14, 03:45:19
It works fine for me. Just make sure you choose to decrapify instead of normal compress. There's a radio button at the bottom left. At least people who's been having problem with cmd and/or batch file should try that tool. Save you guys some time explaining something that computer illiterate people would have trouble grasping anyway.
84  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The definitive EA Store Set & Guide? on: 2010 May 13, 15:51:47
Uh, there's a frontend for decrapifying by jfade. Why don't you just use it? Works great, nice GUI, and all that.
85  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 February 25, 09:14:20
Ah so that's what I was doing wrong. SimPE allows dragging to its window, so it became some kind of a habit.
86  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 February 25, 08:52:09
Permission, eh? I get a forbidden symbol when I drag packages to s3pe window.
87  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 February 25, 01:25:35
Really? I can't seem to do that. Win7 x64 here. Didn't work when I was on Vista either. Crap, what am I doing wrong?
88  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 February 24, 19:54:23
Inge, while we're at it, can you please add a drag-and-drop support for s3pe? I find myself trying open package files by dragging and dropping them in s3pe window. Old habit from SimPE, I guess. Tongue
89  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Decrapify vs. manual .dbc files? on: 2010 February 24, 13:21:25
Ok so decaprifying new, never-installed-before sims3packs worked but decaprifying my pre-existing dbc files didn't. I guess I have to delete the dbc and reinstall all my sims3packs from scratch?

Once Supreme Commander is active, CRTL-Click again to pop the Fish Chooser.
Ah thanks. Been trying to figure it out since yesterday Smiley
91  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 February 15, 09:20:02
How do you specify what type of fish you want to fish for with Supreme Commander?
92  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Hidden Traits and Reward For World Adventure on: 2009 November 27, 03:12:16
What does the mummy trait do? I don't notice anything. Maybe it's really been cut out of the game? Huh
93  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Well, well, THIS is a surprise... on: 2009 November 26, 08:09:47
Meh, it's just a stuff pack, and it's not out until February next year anyway.

Look again. Release date is 5/2/2010. That's MAY, not February.
Dude, the date is in UK format. That's February 5th.
94  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Beta Testing 1.7.9/WA 2.2.8 Problems/Questions/Discussion on: 2009 November 26, 01:03:02
With the latest AM, when I tell my sim to "go here" to another lot (instead of "visit lot") he always runs instead of taking a taxi even though the distance is quite far and the setting is automatic. Is that a bug or something? WA 2.2.8
95  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Prima Guide for TS3 World Adventures on: 2009 November 25, 14:35:26
I haven't been really looking for errors in the guide, but there is a few that I did find. Again she put the wrong name for the Luminorious gem, she called it the Crazy gem (in the base game guide she called it the Special gem), she is also calling the Blue Topaz the Aqua gem.

To be fair though, if you look in the game files, Luminorious is actually called Crazy and Blue Topaz is Aqua.
96  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Gem Cut Profit Values - Now A Little Awesomer! on: 2009 November 25, 14:24:22
What about those large version of the cuts? (The ones you get after processing 8 identical gems in that XL display case.) Are they worth it? Also, does anybody know if there's a small/normal version of the skull cut? I've been getting the large ones only Huh
97  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Razor1911 release vs. Reloaded release on: 2009 May 28, 11:23:33
I uninstalled the RLD version, installed the Razor one, put in the crackfix and when I double click on it, a black cmd box flashes for a split second and the disappears. What gives? Putting the reloaded cracked exe in works. I haven't got the patch yet.

Nevermind, I got a fake one, it seems. I downloaded from another site and it works like a charm. (The bad one was from pirate bay, fyi. And it didn't come in .001 extension Tongue)
98  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 20, 15:08:22
I don't know if this has been posted before but what is wrong with this?

Is it my graphic card?

It almost looks to me like it's his reflection on the water, but I can't really tell from the picture. Did you look at it from the front and it looked the same way?

No it's fine from the front. It's like it's a problem with the way the game renders the water.

Also, once I bought a bike and then a sim came over and he had a blank icon and when I hovered over the action icon it read "default unallocated come and see action" or something like that. Can't remember the exact wording. Perhaps it's a glitch or maybe it is an earlier build. Tongue I don't know.
