Yep, it's an actual want. Afaik, I only recall Knowledge sims ever getting them.  Maybe... sims who have a hatred for other sims might get the want as well?  But thus far, I've had sims get the want to turn other sims into zombies (I think it says something to the effect of Make so-and-so a Zombie or... it could just be that so-and-so becomes a zombie...

I think it's 'make so-and-so a zombie'.  I've seen knowledge sims get that one, and I thought it might be just a recently deceased enemy, but I found it's friends also.  The 'recently deceased' seems to be the key.

I've also seen "Make a Zombie" once in a blue moon- though it tends to show up when they're in asp failure and keep wanting irrational things like "Family member meets aliens" or "Bite someone"

ah, then clearly I am not only less awesome than everyone else here, but suffering from early-onset alzheimers, as well >.>

1: Non-untouchable NPC's are fair game, right? And potentially this could turn a whole neighbourhood into a Romerian playing field.
NPCs can be zombied, yes.
Ahh but what if one of the zombies try turn corrupt crumplebutt into one?

emphasis mine
679  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Woohoo LTW Fix on: 2007 January 25, 12:39:11
They changed hot tubs? when!? Dammit, that means the Lulu Lounge is no longer the perfect romance sim date place... I would always go there so they could dance like the other sim inevitably wants to, and there's enough toys to keep even a pleasure sim happy, plus the night would always end with hottub woohoo. But if it's not public anymore...
680  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Floating Simkids on: 2007 January 25, 12:34:58
My sim was chatting with another simkid in the middle of a shoot for a video I was doing, and he began floating. Was the first time I'd seen it, I caught it on video.

(note the video itself is a horrible, horrible pun I made to entertain my boyfriend one day) on the line "I have a girlfriend, and she is so blue" you can see the phenomenon. Since I barely edited it at all, you can see he was merely chatting with the other kid:

681  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Rating stuffs, on: 2007 January 25, 12:21:57
ratings, to be effective, should work like they do on animemusicvideos.org.

you can't rate before downloading, nor on the page you download from. Instead, it keeps a big list of everything you've downloaded. Before you're allowed to see the list (handy if you're on a friend's comp or want to redownload something), you're confronted with a list of downloads you've yet to rate, and you must give them all a rating. That way, you rate them after you've watched, since it's kinda pointless to rate randomly.
682  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Automated Baby Controller on: 2007 January 09, 15:25:54
regarding hungery sims feeding baby:

doesn't the game's own autonomy system involve the baby advertising that it'll fill the parents' needs so they'll tend to it?  therefore the sim who is more needy at the moment will be the one autonomously trying to harass the baby, without any mods in place. Did your CC get turned off when you installed OMGPets? The behaviors described sound to me like normal, pre-awesome game behavior.

For whatever reason, I cannot send my vampires to their coffins unless they are at least 50% tired, even with Monique's vampire sleep caller (I don't use JM's sleep clock).

See I just don't understand this.  Another person in another thread was talking about the same problem.  I've never had that problem before.  The second the sun rises I click the "sleep in pajamas" option on the coffin and the vampires go to sleep and do not wake up until dark unless they have a job.  And all of their needs including energy are totally green when I do this.  That is the way it is suppose to work in the game.  I think maybe there is a hack conflict of some kind in your game to make where they can't go to sleep until their energy is down.  Maybe not, but I can't imagine why there would be such a difference in our games.

Dream

do you use the radience light mod?

I get that nifty sunrise effect before the game counts the sun as being up, so when the light appears, I send the vamp to bed, and invariably, if I'm not paying attention, about one simminute before sunrise he pops back out of bed because, duh, he's not tired, no motive decay. By the time he gets back in bed, though, he's plenty tired and in the red >.> especially if I wasn't watching and he stands there for a simhour or two
684  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I'm looking the electric gnome! on: 2006 December 26, 01:07:38
I don't know if the fence is autonomous, but the electric chair linked to is decorative, does nothing.
685  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I'm looking the electric gnome! on: 2006 December 26, 00:47:43
To begin with, there is the gardener's fence at MTS2. By choosing the option "zap" you get electrocuted.
There is also chair that electrocutes, at the same website, I'll try to give you the exact adresses.

You can find the zapper fence under the following andress: www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=124003 . I hope I helped!

The electric chair can be found under: www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=121793 .Tell me if you need something more...

MOD EDIT: Triple posting is bad, m'kay?

Except that neither of those objects are gnomes, which is what the OP was asking about.
686  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Annoying Santa on: 2006 December 26, 00:33:20
No matter what you say, my solution is effective and please don't talk to me like that. Notice your behaviour towards the other users (i don;t know if that's the right verb, but anyway).

No matter what you say, your solution causes more problems than it solves and you know it. Notive that Venusy is a Not-So-Global Mod and you are a newbie with (as of this post) less than 20 posts. Maybe you should lurk a little longer till you get the hang of things?
687  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: No Weeds on: 2006 December 26, 00:29:19
Pet pee = puddles which cause weeds. Which you'd know if you had Pets, rather than just replying with a sarcastic eyeroll for no good reason.

hence why I also suggested insim.

it says a tthe top do not use if you only have the core game, but it says in the updates that UV stands for Universal Version so it works with and without EPs... no idea if it'll work for you

alternatly, buy nightlife?
690  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Younger-Maker on: 2006 December 26, 00:13:06
that's what I meant, agesimscheat. I never use it myself, insim all the way, so I forgot what it was.
691  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Younger-Maker on: 2006 December 26, 00:02:13
Insim, or the agingcheats cheat
692  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Burglar go bye bye? on: 2006 December 25, 23:13:12
I trained a dog to be agressive as a protector for a female sim living alone... and she wanted to be a werewolf. The dog fought and chased off every wolf that came on the lot, and when she adopted a couple while he was at work, he made them run away! about 3 times per wolf! I tried retraining him but it was very difficult. I should have gone with the alarm >.>
693  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: See a Wolf and Leader of the Pack on: 2006 December 18, 06:52:18
just imagine it's "see a different wolf to compare notes" and move on with your day

what DOES fight club have to do with this hack?

it was announced as 12 in a lies and propaganda filled chat, but later reduced to 10.
696  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2006 December 09, 22:10:18
this is very ,very strange indeed. My family went like this: Micheal was born first, quite a while before his little brother Taylor. Micheal was a child when Taylor was born. Micheal grew to a teen, Taylor grew to a child. Micheal grew to an adult, got a job as a Test Subject. Taylor grew to be a teen. About 2 days later, Micheal got abducted by aliens and returned pregnant. Due to apocalypse rules, I knew he'd have to quit his job, but since his brother had all his skills in order to become a slacker, I knew he'd be able to return to it once Taylor finished his career. Since he'd been abducted, Elixir was now legal, so Taylor took a bunch of elixir while in red (one of it actually worked properly, imagine that!) till he was 1 day away from adulthood. Taylor grew to be an adult (badly). I noticed the issues, had to delete Micheal because he was stuck in the bathtub, saved and quit, came back in, still issues, saved and quit again, grabbed the debugger, macro tastics, skilinator, sleep clock, woohoo ltw fix, stuck object remover, and autoyak (when I download, I tend to go on sprees). I installed all of them, went back in to the game, moved everything off their platform, burninated the empty platform, then moved it all back, delighting at the lack of invisible objects. Shortly thereafter, the sun came up and I got a notice about a school bus coming. I checked: it was for Micheal, and Taylor was an adult still!

SimPE has the following:

Micheal Green (pic is of a toddler)
treat as male
life section: Teen
days remaining: 10
species: human

career:
school type: publicschool
grade: DMinus (about right, he was failing all through school because once he hit teen he stopped attenfding)
career: unemployed
aspiration: knowledge (correct)

flags: none are set, not even pregnant (invisible)

memories:
sim initialized
met Calita Despret (his nanny)
(several gossip flags about his mom)
Met Ron Todd (his dad, they weren't married yet)
Made Best Friends with Bay Green (his mom)
Ron Todd Grew Up Well, Joined the Family, Got Engaged (he was a YA, he finally moved in, was engaged before hand)
invisible toddler skill token
(more gossip)
Grew Up Well (ok, so far so good, he's at childhood)
met some people, had 2 best friends
invisible token - misc skill
learned to study, gossip, met some people, burgler, ate some foods
invisible token personal wealth (Huh)
Taylor Green joined the family (ok, his brother was born when he was a child)
best friends with his dad, had 3 best friends
Grew Up Well (now he's a teen)
gossip, his mom hit elder well, his brother grew up badly (child?)
more gossip, got a D report card, Taylor got an A+
Taylor grew up well (teen)
invisible grew up well, no names attached (??)
more gossip
Grew Up Well (adult)
Never Went to College
Got a Job
Met Aliens (he got pregnant from it)
Quit Job
Taylor grew up badly (when I forced him on elixir)
lots of vermin, then invisible token sim loaded.

so how did the game mark him as a teen?! also, I remember he had a belly bump because he got put on maternity leave from his job, does that not get a memory?
697  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2006 December 09, 21:20:47
oh wow. I nuked the area around the tub that was giving me issues: a bunch of social 2x2 markers and *marker - 1 tile showed up as being burninated. I'm going to do their entire platform now, since it's only 8x8...

EDIT: oh yes, now I remember the other thing that keeps showing up,seems random: a few times my kids have blown bubbles and the bubbles don't leave ,and once (brand new house, maybe 3rd day of play) a woman went to sleep and never woke up- she walked around the house with zZzZzZzs for days (she eventually died and was rescued from death)

EDIT: and now my adult sim is a teenager again. Remembers growing up, getting alien pregnant, quitting his job... but a schoolbus is about to arrive. ARGH!
698  Awesomeware / The Scrapyard / Re: Engagement Want Fix on: 2006 December 09, 21:08:19
oh yeah, heh, you're right. (usually if my sims are failing out of school, it's because i'm doing some stupid challenge and can't be bothered about it, and either they're in asp. failure or elixir is banned). well.. there's always knowledge sims with their implausible wants, like becoming a werewolf without having met the leader of the pack (I don't think), or the eternal saved from death want when they've no friends or family living with them.
699  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2006 December 09, 21:01:02
thanks. I don't know why a search for "stuck object remover" didn't turn up a thread entitled "stuck object remover" @.@
700  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2006 December 09, 20:41:32
Is that part of this hack or a seperate one? I didn't see it in the RTFM and I wanted to make sure I have whatever I need before I boot up my game again.

also, will that help with my sims being stuck doing things?I've not been playing very long, the founder of the family is only partway into her elderhood, usually I get these odd errors after several generations. Does playing in window mode make a difference, maybe a lack of memory?
