Do you have debug mode on to see if there's actually an error/reset while that happens?
128  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's on YOUR Wish List? on: 2008 June 10, 22:00:23
Well, bffsarefor12s doesn't nuke the concept, it actually makes it sound more like "best friends I've kept from my childhood". I do like your suggestion of limiting the number of BFFs a sim can have though.
129  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Collection Files on: 2008 June 09, 14:04:23
Ah, thanks, with so many CS things to download I was bound to miss something. Grin

Those might come in handy in order to organize a little bit! Thanks Emma!

P.S. WCIF the doors and windows? I know devilsrope posted the fences/columns.

I do have SShack.  I have only noticed being able to leave babies, toddlers and children for hours in one lot.  I will have to check another one to see if they can be left alone without a social worker showing up.

Maybe ChildrenCanStayAlone by XPTL from the Insimenator site?

You killed her? Aww, that's not so legal. You should have given her a restraining order (a.k.a. ban her from that house via visitor controller) instead.

Sorry for the lack of any constructive comment in this post. Tongue

Are you sure that organizer you mentioned doesn't also have an option to disable custom content while still leaving it in the Downloads folder (by changing the file-type extension or something) and that you didn't do that (one way or another) to the BS content you're missing?
134  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful than You! June: Stuff that you Do. Not. Want. on: 2008 June 07, 15:03:21
This boy's head reminds me of a balloon. It gets bigger and bigger as you fill it with air and then KABOOM!

I don't get this one.  Many of my sims look like this.  Seems normal and attractive to me.

I agree, that's pretty good hair.

Of course this month's theme, a.k.a. "Do Not Want", is pretty subjective.
135  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Crammyboy's nudist hack v2.07 (updated for Bon Voyage) on: 2008 June 07, 02:11:13
^ The latest one posted you mean? It's supposed to be the FT version of the hack, updated not to break enthusiasm and all.

And so far it does seem to work better than the last version pcgeekri posted, sims tend to get dressed when they're supposed to and don't always wander around naked till you tell them otherwise.
136  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Permanent Suntan or Sunburn ? on: 2008 June 06, 19:12:13
The link i linked to two posts above leads you to a file called numenorian.zip. however, it does seem to tan sims!

That one would be Pescado's version (being on his site and all) which *does* tan. Tongue
137  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS WaterFall on: 2008 June 06, 15:15:33
i was annoyed to find that the day after i extracted them the plants were on this site. not to sound big headed but i did upload them first.

You're right, I didn't mean to come off as critical of you, just saying they were there already. Checking the dates though, turns out you're right, you uploaded yours first, but I assume that because the topic title remained "CS Waterfall" that would be easy to miss. Which is actually what I did, I only discovered the updated waterfall and the plants a couple of days ago while randomly checking the thread. Anyway, I'm sure your work is appreciated either way. Wink
138  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Three-story house with major complications. on: 2008 June 06, 13:17:07
No, that won't work, because you can't modify the terrain right next to a wall, meaning there's nothing to hide the HUGE slope, meaning I can't get them to walk outside on the third story in the back because there's a floor tile stretched all the way to the first floor and they can't cross it.

Didn't try this myself but just a thought: can you place stairs across that slope? Or a deck serving as a bridge maybe? Though maybe that's not exactly what you wanted I guess.
139  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS WaterFall on: 2008 June 04, 22:10:17
Just saw that you made the waterfall community-enabled, thanks for that! Wink

About the plants though, I'm pretty sure Havelock already did all of them (most of them for sure) and they're actually smaller files (I think he said they pull textures from some of the plants Pescado extracted).
140  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Body Hair Overlays on: 2008 June 03, 21:49:28
There is already one for male body-hair based on Morague's tattoos, or you want to make something completely different to that? I'm talking about one that can be found at SexySims2.
141  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS WaterFall on: 2008 June 03, 15:52:33
Your waterfall is beautiful!  I even put it in the Castaways game and it works fine.

I thought the object was extracted from Castaway so it would be there already? Huh Or it wasn't buyable and only found on pre-made lots or something?

Edit: Sorry, just saw what arogers said earlier about it being unbuyable in the original.
142  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: More CS stuff on: 2008 May 31, 22:54:12
What do you do to fix the CS Piano overriding the Bon Voyage one?

You get the updated version that doesn't override it? Roll Eyes

Or did you mean what setting devilsrope had to change for that not to happen?
143  Darcyland / Lord Darcy Investigates / Re: Maxis Centerpiece... as Centerpiece! (Centerpiece Enabler for Maxis Small Object on: 2008 May 29, 11:27:27
This is great, you always have some of the most essential fixes for stuff EAxis stupidly breaks.

(Sims won't put plates on it when they're Serving a Meal, though.)

What about community restaurants? Will they be correctly seated and served in a table with such a centerpiece?
144  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: None of my Sims can give birth? on: 2008 May 27, 18:13:27
Isn't it EP7? Tongue
145  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Macro Control: Macrotastics on: 2008 May 26, 22:19:02
^ You said that the sim "runs upstairs" to the bed, maybe that's the problem? Can sims ninja-teleport to other floors or only to the level they're currently in?

I once had a tower where the highest level didn't have any stairs or other way for sims to get to (it was supposed to be a witch's hidden chamber where her books and altars were, and she could teleport there using the meditate-teleport) and I'm sure they couldn't ninja-teleport there. Or is it that they will teleport only to places normally available by walking there? Cause then they won't be able to cross a river without a bridge that way either, I haven't checked that.
146  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS WaterFall on: 2008 May 25, 14:44:38
Thanks, I suppose you made it actually occupy only 2 tiles on purpose or was it like that in CS too? Anyway, that isn't really important I guess, but I'd suggest enabling it to be used in community lots too. Wink
147  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty fridges - Stand-alone (FT) on: 2008 May 24, 21:34:00
^ It kinda makes sense that you aren't able to get a milk-bottle out of a fridge filled with vegetables and fish. Tongue (that is, if Lord Darcy indeed planned it this way)

Not just those empty fridges, but Maxis fridges (full of grocery and full price) also miss those options. That's why it's so strange.

That's strange, I played earlier with LDarcy's files installed but didn't actually use them, I played a new family in a new lot, with a brand new fridge (the one from K&B SP) and the happy parents could both "feed bottle to" both of their toddler babies. Are you sure it's not something different that disabled it in your game?

(I only installed the standalone versions, not the overrides, if that makes any difference)

But why would changing tables be affected by this?
149  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Female Garden Club Members have male voices on: 2008 May 19, 19:08:28
What interaction would they do that would tell me that?

See how they pee. Tongue

That would be the one, yes. Grin
