The EA pictures are often completely misleading.

The primp action actually increased hygiene for Sims who used it, and refreshed the water need for the plant Sims. It's actually useful if your Sim is desperate.

Though this information is quite useless, I do remember talking with Eric at InSim saying something about the sibling relations being much more complex than the other familial relations. I don't think he ever figured out to do it, but I haven't touched the InSIMenator in ages.

Yes, well, it isn't less than five times, but it does get ridiculous after awhile. I've had ones that went on for several Sim hours and resulted in one of them missing work.

I really have no idea how to fix these things, but I have noticed the first one. My Sims don't get stuck placing flowers indefinitely, but they do certainly go through the loop at least five times. It's getting really annoying for me.

Typically a permaplat servo is best, that way they can work on things without much concern to that. They have a social need, but that can easily be filled. If you have a garden, they can just talk to the plants as well.

Indeed, a first kiss can happen that way, but they most certainly don't gain relationship points of any kind from it.

I have never had that happen in my game, unfortunately. I would have just left the kid dead if they had that many.

Oh, and I could never get a child to die by fire in my game. Admittedly, it has been ages since I've tried, but they kept catching flame and then just returning to normal directly afterwards.

Go into CAS. Create a new Sim. At the top of the window displaying his/her skintone and gender, there should be an icon that is of about six Sims. Click it.

It isn't too hard to fix those imperfections, really. You could just use the clone stamp, though you may end up with a Sim's nipples or belly button faded.

I actually did something like what SaraMK described to create my current default. I took similar shades of two skintones that I happened to like and put them together. I brought defining features, that I wanted to keep, anyway to the top layer and simply erased the others with the clone stamp.

That girl is like the plague; they just can't seem to get rid of her.

Yes, you can. It won't save you too much space, but it will speed up loading times. It really only saves about 25 MB per expansion compressed, and something like 40 MB for the original game.
