I need a tutorial for getting Sims into my game

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Yes, yes, poke, laugh, kick...do what you will, I'm going out on a limb here and opening myself up for ridicule but I'm too frustrated to care right now  Cheesy  Sad

I am hopelessly illiterate when it comes to getting all of the MATY Sims into my game!

*Funnily enough I fluked my own sim when I created it in Body Shop and she shows up in the game, go figure??!!*

I have downloaded them, packaged them, double clicked on them but they still don't show up in my neighbourhood when I load up the game. *I only play Pleasantview if that's any help*

Have mercy....or not LOL

Well, here's a tutorial for installing zip or rar files.

And to install it from TS2.com, just double click on the content installer icon (save it to your desktop to make it easier to find) and it will install it automatically into your Downloads folder.

To create the Sim, go into CAS and assemble it, using the different parts.  Just select the skin tone, then press on the 2 button to see the custom heads that the creator used with the skintone.

If you click on the 'sim bin' logo (can't remember what it looks like) in CAS- then all the sims you have downloaded will be there, ready assembled. All you have to do is put the name in, choose aspiration etc.  Smiley

thank you so much for the tutorial.   I did not know how to add the custom content either.

My daughter asked me the other day how to do it and I said  "duh",  I don't have a clue.

so, I just printed your tutorial and I am e-mailing the link to my daughter.   Bless you Hairfish.  Kiss
