Thanks for those pics, Zaza. I do think the Sims look a lot better indoors. Out of doors, especially for the light-skinned Sims, they look really odd. I'm really looking forward to some custom skin tones, but except for the weird lighting issues, I don't think TS3 skintones look any worse than TS2 Maxis skintones.
I think the eyes are the best of these new Sims ... watching video and seeing the eyes move around is really awesome.
Re: the "fatness" issue ... I've seen some TS3 Sims that look pretty thin, in their face as well as their body. It seems like it's easier to make rounder faced Sims though, which is why we see more of them. I don't know ... I think a lot of people have somewhat weird ideas about how human beings are shaped. Most people in real life have rather roundish faces. It's only on TV and in the media that you see people with ~chiselled jaws~ and such. But we like to imagine otherwise about ourselves, I suppose. I think part of the reason too that the TS3 faces look so round and chubby is down to shading on the skintones. I'll be interested to see if some good custom skintones affect the way the faces look.

Oh hey, I just remembered:
Did the "choose the Sim's voice" feature make it to the release, or was that all L&P?
When I created my sim, there were three voices I could select from and then a pitch shifter which apparently did nothing. Really? In some of the videos that got taken down from YouTube I saw them use the pitch shifter and it sounded like it made a difference to me ... They didn't spend too long on it though. |

Interestingly, I stopped the first house at 2:00 AM Thursday. When I added the new house, she opened up at 2:00 AM Thursday. That was messy. Yes, the entire world has a single timeclock for everything, which means it is pretty much IMPOSSIBLE for anything to occur simultaneously in two houses. If you want to coordinate two famblys having kids at the same age, it's a nearly impossible juggling exercise, and you probably won't be able to properly name them, either Really? Can't you just play one house, get the spouse pregnant, then skip over to the other house, do the same thing, and then let time take its course? I realize that it might be difficult to get the timing exactly right, but it seems to me like you should be able to get it within a day or so. There's nothing keeping you from playing one household for a few Sim hours and then switching to another, is there? I got the impression that you were supposed to be able to peek in and out. Also, re: the name thing -- I remember reading something about notices popping up when important things like births happen, and possibly something about you having control over the names. Have you guys experienced any births in your neighborhoods yet and can confirm that? (If you're playing with story progression on low, maybe not). |

The luser obviously is reveling in his/her 12ness, and slapping a "gee, sorry you victim guys and stuff, this is really done as a sensitive tribute to your memories!" tag onto the story does not successfully hide that it was really an excuse to MSPaint a scanner into a 'gun', slap MSPaint blood on everyone, and to be half-assed about actually telling a story that has any emotional impact beyond "WTF? You're 12, GTFOTI!".
Yeah, so after this I HAD to go back and read this. WTF. It's not only offensive and unnecessary, but totally fug. And it has no bearing on the actual events that took place, either. Who are these people? Preschool in NY, what? Also:  As a dog comes he notice 2 Trench Coat on the floor of the school grounds .(IT'S RED BECAUSE IT'S DOG VISION, PEOPLE!!!)  That when the dog was sencing something bad was happening .   Is this the actual still from the footage? Or was this made in the Sims 1?  WTF.  Thank to this awsom cast to make it look real and acting great .

All you have to do for this challenge is check the front page of the Story Listing on the exchange everyday. WITHOUT FAIL you will find gold. Today we have My Slut Mom, My Forgotten Sister, and Me. Sounds heartwarming. <3 This is my daddy. He walked out on us when I was 12. Why? He had found out that my mother was physically abusing me everytime he went to work, she smoked pot, and was cheating on him with 3 other men. So he left. He left me, just going into middle school. He left my sister, just about a year old. He left my family, but oddly, I understand why. Her daddy is Malcom Landgrabb IV by the way. This is my mother. Alexa. Yup, the Pot addict. And you thought she stopped to get my daddy back didnt you? WRONG! Guess what!? Shes doubled up doses. Shes basically became a slut ever since my daddy left her. She was gorgeous before! So what's worse? A "pot addict" or a slut? Tough call. Where is Dad?
What will happen to mom?
Will Lindsay go to the police about Alexas drug use and abuse?
Will Alexa abuse Oliva just like she did to Lindsay when she was a little girl?
Will they loose the house?
Will Alexa get a boyfriend?
Will Alexa get out of hand and do something drastic to her children?!
Will Lindsay go to college knowing how horrible Olivas house is gonna be?
Will Alexa get better?
And does Oliva actually know whats going on?
IF I GET AT LEAST 1 COMMENT ABOUT THIS STORY, I WILL MAKE CHAPTER 1.
