ok i got it to work, didn't notice my resource.cfg wasn't the good one u__u
opened it with notepad++ and changed it


there's new stuff on the sims 3 store, can't wait for someone to share!! (could never do it myself T__T )

IT IS because to me it seems normal that EA store content goes into the laucher into the installed content section! That was how it worked until now when i downloaded it from other websites! and since nobody in here had specified the dbc shows up directly into the game, I hadn't guessed it! okay!

Skadi's January store update files show up in my laucher, but doesn't work in the game! (The contrary of Yecats one's....)

my resource.cfg is into the WA section, i've put the files pretty much everywhere and that doesn't work for me.

I got those from the first post running well, but these ones don't.

Yecats files don't work for me, i've downloaded the Modernminimalist.dbc and nothin shows up in my launcher.

I'm asking for help because i got a bug i never had before


I can play for a few minutes without any problems, then it comes

- the traits of the sims. You know they appear into the bar at the bottom of the screen, like on the picture i put below
Well, for all of my sims, this space is now empty, no traits listed!

- same thing, with their favorite color/music/food, nothing! (i mean for adult sims, i know this is normal for babies)

- same thing with the lifetime happiness rewards, in the case on the right of the bar when you click the lifetime points tab, EXCEPT for the new ones (ones you got in World Adventures). The basic ones i bought don't appear, though there's space left blank for them to be, but there's no little pic

- you know when you click on a sim thumbnail (pics on the left of the screen), it gets white, meaning you're now controlling this sim. Well when i click, it gets white, but then i click another one and it gets white too! and so on, with all the sims in the house, and on the bar, the stats of the first sim stays! and even the action in the top left corner!





This is it, i think it's all said but if i forgot something i'll post it

Now AM seems to work since i can create a family of only teens and children.

But i still have a problem:

1/ In CAS, i have only 1 trait for my sims: "stupid". All the others have disappeared, the spaces are left blank

2/ still have this problem that I can play my Girl sim but just can't click my boy sim ( to talk to him) and when i play my boy sim and click on my girl sim to talk with her, there's no option but frighten her, or do the moodlet manager things to her.

can someone help me?

okay, could you just tell me in which folder i have to put AM and my AM config? I mean is it in

Sims3>Mods>Packages>?
Sims3 WA>?
Sims3 WA>Mods>Packages?

It doesn't seem to work, anywhere i put it!!

Then I have a problem too, i have a couple of sims, and the female just cant talk to the man, i CAN'T click onto him, the little man cursor appears next to the arrow, but nothin happens when i click.

Then when i play with the male and click on the girl, the only thing he can do is frighten her.

BUT it woudn't come from AM, cuz it looks like it's not working (as i said before), i know it cuz I can't create a family without an adult in CAS :/
