1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Can't delete floor? on: 2010 September 04, 10:11:32
How exactly do I check if the floors are level? I enabled the cheat but it says 'only exposed terrain can be edited'.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Can't delete floor? on: 2010 September 03, 06:27:34
I figured I'd come here since the TS3 site somehow deleted my account a long time ago and it cannot be recreated, but that's a different glitchy EA mess. Anyway...
(I'm running with only WA, most recent patch. No CC or Awesomemod although I've been meaning to download it)

I've been having this problem with the Goth Mansion. In this one room, there is a large chunk of tiles that are occupied by something, supposedly, and they cannot be deleted. The problem has persisted for a very, very long time in game, and I'm not quite sure what initiated it. It's not gamebreaking, but it's annoying to have a room you can't use. I've tried everything (moveObjects, sledgehammer, etc) and nothing works.
Here are a couple of pictures (they're a little dark for some reason):

Sims can't walk onto the glitched tiles. Objects cannot be placed. They cannot be deleted.

I changed the floor and wallpaper, deleted everything. The dark squares in the area highlighted by the sledgehammer are the parts that are impossible to delete.
Can anyone help?  Huh

I finally killed one.

A little sim girl  Grin
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: So did anyone else notice the knockoff Brady Bunch family? on: 2009 June 18, 18:16:12
Not quite sure who or what Brady Bunch are but Darlene sure gets lovely descendants.

Her daughter after she became a teen. Curiously, now that she is a YA in my game she's looking almost exactly like Scarlett Johansson. (The lips do the trick, methinks.)

She looks wonderful compared to some of my sims.  Undecided
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The music, it must die! on: 2009 June 05, 08:26:27
I actually like the Sims 3 soundtrack. It's a lot better than the horrid bizarre techno dance stuff from TS2.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Extreme difficulty in killing sims by fire? on: 2009 June 05, 08:24:17
I've tried this 3 times with 3 different families. All times were unsuccessful. The sims were right next to the fire, screaming, running through etc. for 12+ hours each time. None of them even caught on fire!
7  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Pinstar's new Apocalypse challenge on: 2008 November 15, 04:13:21
This challenge is hellish.

Someone should have made a mod that implemented all of the rules.

So hard to remember...
8  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Apartment Life Borkiness, or how i ended the world in 1 hour. on: 2008 September 06, 21:02:40
On vacation lots, you have to greet everyone to interact with them. I find this annoying. Is it like this on community and business lots too?
9  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Apartment Life Borkiness, or how i ended the world in 1 hour. on: 2008 August 30, 16:08:20
My borklist so far:

1. Aspiration awards seem to be broken.

With my one sim, he was in platinum aspiration and he got home from work at 3pm very tired as he was on a dream date with his boyfriend the night before and never went to bed. So I bought him the energizer, and it backfired! I tried it twice more and it backfired twice more! So then later he was in Platinum again and he needed to skill, so I put on the Thinking Cap. Backfired! He lost a Charisma point!

2. Also, when my sim used the energizer and it backfired, I was given 8 or so little pop up windows on the side informing me that I lost enthusiam in all 8 hobbies, even though he didn't have any in some of them! Not sure if it's a feature or glitch, but the note pop up spam is really annoying.

3. The main menu screen is very very choppy. It freezes and unfreezes every 3 seconds. This has been an issue since Bon Voyage.

4. I cannot find the medicine cabinet or the medicine cabinet mirror. I have checked every category, it does not exist for me.

5. How does magic work? I'm a bit confused about that.

6. One of the neighborhood decorations has been replaced by a new one. Downtown looks really glitchy because of this.

7. Roommates motives are always green. Every time they go to work or run errands they turn green as well.

8. The little portraits are changing every time sims change clothes. It's irritating, I like certain portraits for certain sims!

9. Messed up memories and genetics for new premades

10. Not a bork, but some really weird townie names in Belladonna Cove. Christian Love...
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Life: Obligatory Hate/Love Topic on: 2008 August 30, 15:55:13
Like:
Belladonna Cove. One of the better neighborhoods they've put together. Much much better then the awful one from FT.
New objects. Lots of new outfits and hair.
New interactions.
Cute little touches...the cuddling in bed is great.
Nice arrangement of Sims 2 theme and very nice loading music

Neutral:
Apartments. Just seem sort of pointless. I would rather have a normal home that I can freely edit and have full control of. Also, too easy. You can get a decent sized apartment with a starter sim and furnish it with top of the line stuff, and you'll be fine when it comes to the rent because of the 20k handout.

Hate:
Extreme borkiness
Some errors in Belladonna Cove families
Murphy bed. It actually takes up MORE space then a normal bed!
So many ugly outfits cluttering up the everyday category
Extreme hair recolor spam. We do not need SIX HAIRS WHICH ARE IDENTICAL IN EVERY WAY BESIDES A TINY LITTLE RIBBONS COLOR.
11  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Transferred files to external...I broke it? on: 2008 August 25, 13:15:48
So my computer is pretty much all out of space, so I moved my Sims 2 files over to my external hard drive. But now the game won't work...it says "The Sims 2 FreeTime is not installed or installed properly on your machine. Please install or reinstall."

I'll go INSANE if I have to reinstall every expansion and stuff pack. Surely there's another way to get it to work? All of the files are there... Undecided
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 March 02, 06:09:01
I'm back playing in Prospect Beach with an adult male alien who discovered his one true hobby to be fitness. He got the membership card and went to visit the lot. Very anticlimactic.

There's nothing there.

 Grin Cheesy

Anyway, the game competition is glitched. I went to the secret lots and it seemed that sims don't want to join it and there is no way to get them to do so. Some sims did sit down at the computers but they stopped after about 5 seconds.
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: So anyone else not so happy about the new lifetime aspiration thing in FT? on: 2008 March 02, 05:51:35
So, there won't be a hack incoming? I really dislike the new bar.
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 27, 15:31:57
I had a family sim get joined, and she got a red icon for the memory. The want was fulfilled and she got the asp points, and the wording was for a positive memory - I'm hoping Eaxis just fucked up the colors.

Was Romance her secondary aspiration? That might explain it.
15  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / So anyone else not so happy about the new lifetime aspiration thing in FT? on: 2008 February 27, 15:29:31
You know...where you need to fill up that bar to get perma plat, and your lifetime want won't do that anymore?  Sad

Will someone be making a hack to revert it to the old way?
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Is there any hack for this? on: 2007 November 05, 05:04:14
You know, the really annoying glitch in OFB where people's faces change and they lose their eyebrows when you make them wear a uniform...

I tried searching and couldn't find a thing  Embarrassed
17  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! October: Fugly Tops on: 2007 October 28, 08:10:53

This thing by dhampir1313 is ugly. It's supposed to be this but just looks like...well, I have no idea.

I don't even understand. It says "Anti-rice" on the front (Huh what's so bad about rice) and then it has a random image of Kent Brockman from The Simpsons saying something about 80MPH not being fast...the shirt is plain ugly as well. Here's the direct link to it.

Why? Why would you make thisHuh It's so ugly! Obviously someone decided to have some fun with MSPaint.

Huh? I'm not even sure what that is. "Metal circles"? What the crap? You can find this beauty by DarkBorderR here. (who also thoughtfully provided the fugly rainbow shirt)

Of the ones I seen though, this one is the worst:

UGLY! SO DARN UGLY! Shocked Lips sealed

It's got to be the most tacky thing I've seen. What inspired "ciane" to make this?  HuhYou can get it here *shudder*

Oddly, there are like 50 of these kind of outfits on TSR...

Ugh...my eyes. Shocked Where is the bleach?  Cry
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: BV and the adoption pool on: 2007 October 24, 20:20:52
Mine definitely works....Bigfoot adopted six kids, all of which I designed!  Grin
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Vacation Locals invading neighborhood?! on: 2007 October 24, 10:56:42
I don't, but I have had Vacation teens and kids following my sim-kids off the schoolbus.
Yeah. Kinda odd, but oh well.

Otherwise I haven't suffered from this issue.  Wink
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / How much will I mess up my game by doing this? :( on: 2007 October 21, 21:59:20
There's a neighborhood I created that truly sucks.  Undecided

It has ugly houses, I messed up Bluewater bad, it has unlikable and ugly sims, ugly and nearly totally unusable mountain-y terrain and overall awful ness.  Angry

However, it has one sim I really like. Her name is Catherine and she's like the last surving sim of a big family, she's generation 5. The only family member's she has are her Grandfather Douglas (nice, good looking, looks just like a male version of Catherine) and her brother Karl. (mean, ugly, lives with grandfather)

Otherwise, she only has about one friend and her boyfriend.

But my question is...let's say I make her marry and move in her boyfriend, kill Karl and then move in Douglas, and then I *GASP* *GASP* move their house into the lot bin and then put them into another neighborhood, how much will I mess up my game?  Cry

I really hate everyone in the neighborhood besides Catherine and Douglas, and I want to delete the neighborhood, but I want to keep them  Sad

So... Huh
21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Incest: When you love your mother too much on: 2007 October 19, 21:47:03
Was that a CAS created family or one of the originals?  The originals are puddled - mostly they just aren't truly related at all......
Are you talking about my post?

If so, they were CAS. Oddly.  Huh

I think my Veronaville is ready to become a BFBVFS Sad

Yes, I was replying to you, just forgot to quote you first!  All Veronavilles tend to be headed that way from the day you start playing them!  Maybe the cleaned up versions would be an improvement.

All my Veronavillians are obsessed with WooHoo!

You should see the toddler that wants to Public WooHoo!  Embarrassed

23  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage Woohoo Memories on: 2007 October 19, 21:35:08
I find Romance Sims very easy to deal with as monogamous spouses.  Other than the big aspiration hit they take when they get engaged or married, it's very easy to keep their needs satisfied.  They want to boink the spouse, and that's a quick 3500 points every time.  7000 if they can do make-out first.  If you never let them fall in love with other Sims, it's much easier.

The hardest aspirations to keep platinum are knowledge and money.  They can go for long stretches with no easy wants to meet.

That's what I don't like about Knowledge. They're great when they're skilling and get so many points, but once they fulfill all their skills all they want to do is become a weirdo mutant and die several times:

1. BECOME AN WEREWOLF LOL
2. DIE AND COME BACK LOL
3. BE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING LOL
4. BE A ZOMBIE LOL

Luckily by then they're usually perma platinum for either maxing their skills or reaching the top of their career.
24  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Incest: When you love your mother too much on: 2007 October 19, 21:32:14
In Veronaville a father got a memory of WooHooing his young adult son for some reason... Huh

He didn't even know his son that well  Undecided I guess it was a glitch. The young adult son got the memory too though...
25  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Locked Wants Disappear on: 2007 October 13, 10:21:14
What does ARC do and what is it?

Sounds like it makes dormies WooHoo with each other?
