For some time now I have noticed that I havent had any bartenders  or baristars.  Is this another bug and is there a download out there to fix this one.?   I try avoid playing university until im ready for those kids I have stuffed up there , lolololol... I hide my teens there so I can work the parents to elders, lololol..... Then I bring them back four at a time to the neighborhood... usually matched up with someone and ready for marriage.   lolol....it makes it easier and fun for me.... anyway... baristar and bartenders have disappeared on me. lololol..... help>

I have the same problem. I installed a coffee bar in my downtown area, and there's never been a barista, or anyone. My sims constantly go up, order coffee, and have to sit and wait for the command to time out because there's no one to work the bar. It's really annoying.

Maybe you're having a different problem, but I think this is what you need.  Read some o' the replies about it.

I believe this relatively new hack by El Presidente is supposed to fix that.  I'm using it to prevent a new barista being spawned every time I go to the coffe shop, and it's given me no problems so far.  I believe it's also supposed to solve the "not showing up" problem, judging from the responses of other people.

Problem is, I DO have that in my game, and still nothing.

Ah well. They didn't really need coffee anyway.

Strange, I had the problem, but the fix fixed it!
