TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Newspaper Delivery

I buyable-ize the papers and just bury 3 someplace right off the bat. This keeps the annoying newspaper-12 from ever spawning in my game at all, so I have one less junk character clogging up my send-to-uni menu and game files! Also, I hate kids. And death to Emma!
The un-awesome masses beg for a "spawn newspapers" action in the lot debugger.

Finally, the stuffs have arrived. The mousepad looks okay, but my goodness it smells! It must have spent a week and a half inside some dampy container, packed in a cardboard envelope, so it must be washed ASAP. The FFS shirt also appears devoid of any defect, and the fact it was delivered in an airtight plastic container provided some comfort to my battered olfactory senses. I know, the shipping alone may have increased my carbon footprint by a factor of 10, but it was all for the greater good.

it is only visible only to ZipGenius You're not extracting the whole rar/zip, you're just viewing the contents of that rar/zip file. When you double-click the SimPe file within ZipGenius, the executable is extracted alone into a temporary folder. Attempting to execute that file results in a crash, due to the lack of the remaining files. Thanks to Inge, you don't have to worry about this anymore.

That's easy to see though, since it's formatted as xml. We only need samples of GZPS, XTOL, etc from AL packages (or created by AL BodyShop), and see if there's anything new. I'm just interested in knowing if new fields might create incompatibilities, like the one in Pets BodyShop.

Enlarging 128² images will also result in a blurry mess. But on that same TXTR there should be a field named "LIFO Reference". The bigger texture can be found in the LIFO resource with that name. And yes, the LIFO is probably in another Sims0#.package file.

My scenario is a bit worse: two of my Secret Society students hate each other, and always begin fighting after playable is dragged to the secret lot. It was funny to watch the first 0.8 times, but now I curse the day I first made friends with SS students.
Perhaps the Autonomy Controller can provide some relief...

I don't have any skillz for making an image to submit...but what about shirts/bumper stickers/etc. with a pair of ripped lips?
One could use SaraMK's icons, but the extracted images are too small for printing purposes. Perhaps ray-tracing the icons and enlarging the resulting image could do the trick.

Prescription: Turn off UPnP on your router.
Unfortunately, that's not always an option -- my DirecTV HD DVR connects to the computers to play audio and video files, but it fails to function if UPnP is turned off in the router. (Or more specifically, the video/audio sharing on the PCs fails if UPnP isn't enabled.) Since the attacks are delivered through scripts in Flash, it's a good practice to whitelist your script-enabled domains. Again, either FlashBlock or NoScript won't display Flash objects in non-whitelisted sites.

I don't know how much just the processor is off hand, but the entire build was quoted to me at $615 CDN.
That's not bad at all. Mind you that my setup didn't include a monitor, DVD writer, and not even a computer case, mainly because I already had those items beforehand. It could have been cheaper, if I hadn't lost my head over the €181 graphics card

That E8400 is a sweet processor, isn't it?
Yeah, it was the best choice for my budget, since its price has been cut quite considerably. After my old computer went kaput, I had to buy this processor, an Asus P5KE, 2Gb DDR2, a 250Gb SATA2 drive, and an XFX Geforce 8800GTS, all for under €500 It's clear this is a mid-range setup, but it's enough to play Freetime, with little to no drag, although loading times haven't improved that much.
