26  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: EAxis House of Fail: July on: 2008 July 06, 07:43:29
I can't wait to see what people do with this house. IMO, this lot would have to be *the* ugliest, most useless Eaxis made house thus far. I tried to play it once but ended up moving the family to another lot. It was not only awkward to play but actually depressing as well.

I wish there was a fix to this as I'm having the same issues as you, Liz. Even no autonomous computer mods don't seem to stop this annoyance. I'm torn between letting the morons die or putting computers into inventories, which isn't really much of a solution at all. I have decided not to let any future fortune sims unlock this particular aspiration panel from now on.
28  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Leftovers jump. on: 2008 June 13, 06:14:20
I believe you shouldn't have perfect gardens *and* perfect plants installed together. That may be causing conflict. I would suggest you check your hacks for compatibility, one by one.
29  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: My pants weren't too tight on: 2008 June 04, 05:45:07
After I went to bed last night the mod was updated and my thread disapeared.

And then you would have gotten up this morning, checked for updates, saw the romancemod update, installed it. Fixed game, problem solved.

30  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: My pants weren't too tight on: 2008 June 04, 01:34:45
But we all know that the romance mod has been updated because we come here and check for updates on a regular/semi regular basis. Don't you?
31  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: TRIANGULATED BOOBS! SOLVED thanks to TashaFaun! on: 2008 May 30, 06:24:59
Here in Oz when they were used way back when, it meant gazunda the bed when you're finished with it.
32  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful than You! May: Clothing Meshes of the Damned on: 2008 May 30, 04:25:51
 Cheesy There goez ma monitor!

Ezy Access Mesh FTW.
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Aspiration benefit points... How can I slow it down? on: 2008 May 30, 03:47:17
My sims are already running round like maniacs till well after midnight and I get damned sick of trying to think of things for them to do except endless skilling.

Yep, I learnt early on not to click on the perk/s that give them more energy. I want them to go to bed at a reasonable hour and not sleep the following day away.
34  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: So what the hell are the benefits of being in The Zone anyway? on: 2008 May 16, 02:00:30
I have Inge's No Autonomy Fridge patch and I've never had any luck with Dizzy's Have A Leftover either. I wonder if there's a conflict there?
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: considering getting more expansions, seeking advice on: 2008 May 01, 04:22:40
As you mentioned Bon Voyage would probably be the EP that you would get the least enjoyment from playing. IMO, Freetime sorta sucks, but perhaps I haven't given it enough of a chance yet.

The one EP which I loved right from the outset was Seasons. I like the farming/fishing aspect and the fact that some of my sims have become self sufficient by selling what they sow and catch. Being able to sell crops and fish for profit is fun!
36  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Greater LTW Variety & Sanity on: 2008 April 11, 08:37:36
I have a family sim who has a LTW of graduating 3 kids from college. He just came home and has reached Captain Hero status and the pop up came on saying he has just fulfilled his LTW. Something is royally screwed up. If it is of any consequence, he hasn't/hadn't been assigned a secondary aspiration at the moment of fulfillment.
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Did Freetime do this to my game?! on: 2008 April 07, 09:36:33
Interesting Emma, I'll keep that in mind. Although I'm sure you didn't have to be so pedantic about where you clicked before Freetime.
38  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Did Freetime do this to my game?! on: 2008 April 07, 08:30:12
Trust Eaxis to bork yet another important feature.  Thanks for the speedy reply witch.
39  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Did Freetime do this to my game?! on: 2008 April 07, 08:04:53
Just to resurrect this thread for a minute. I just installed Freetime on the weekend after waiting for the various bugs and whatnot to be ironed out and I don't have the 'call to meal" option anymore either. Was the cause of this ever resolved and therefore I haven't seen it in the relevant thread or is the jury still out on this?
40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My Ramaswamis are clones.... on: 2008 March 31, 07:19:04
Just out of curiousity, did you uninstall ACR as Count Four suggested, or was it something that just cleared itself randomly? It would be handy to know for future reference.
41  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My Ramaswamis are clones.... on: 2008 March 30, 04:26:14
I've also bred them without problem. Sometimes, even with ACR's pregnancy odds turned up high, I've found it takes quite a few tries for some couples to conceive. Obviously you've made sure that their tokens are set to try for baby allowed? Just a thought as I've forgotten that on occasion, only to realise my 'duh' moment later on.
42  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: This is why EAxis sims should never breed on: 2008 March 23, 06:41:20
Evelyn looks fine to me. Elan on the other hand, does have a rather disproportionate nose.

I don't play my hoods where every sim has to be pretty, but if I think two sims will produce ugly spwan, than I just don't let them breed. Once I let two sims, who I thought were extrememly good looking, breed and their first and only spawn turned out looking like a blonde, anorexic ape. Needless to say, she got married and her and her husband adopted.
43  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Mouse wheel just stopped working? on: 2008 March 20, 05:31:25
My present computer came with a wireless mouse and keyboard. It only took me two days to replace the wireless mouse with a wired one. It was a worthless piece of crap.
44  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! March: Fugly Models on: 2008 March 06, 00:24:59
I love Opeu's stuff but her models have always scared me :O

Their facial features are too small for their heads imo. Plus, that's one freaking huge forehead on the female model!
45  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's in YOUR Downloads? on: 2007 December 20, 01:58:25
Bon Voyage director's cut minus a few.
46  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: What's wrong with this Sim? on: 2007 November 05, 08:32:46
Eh, Pescado beat me to it. I was gonna say if you have it, noinstantlove might be the problem Blue.
47  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Rabbit Head Obsession on: 2007 September 14, 01:37:05
With toddlers, I give them one toy, skill them as far as I want them to go with that, then swap toys. Rabbit head is definitely the last toy I skill with.
48  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Anti-Redundancy *CRITICAL FOR BVp0* on: 2007 September 12, 04:42:17
I took a look at Deleted 2.

A) I am severely simpe challenged, so it all looks like gobbledygook to me.

B) If I do decide to have a go at this, I presume I can use the seasons version of simpe, seeing as the BV version is as yet unreleased.

C) I may well be SOL in all instances. I can live with it, 'tis only a game after all.
49  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Anti-Redundancy *CRITICAL FOR BVp0* on: 2007 September 12, 03:25:00
Just a question because someone else mentioned it.

Seeing as you can't interact socially with the Tour guides, if you nuked all gossip memories using the debugger and deleted the character files of the unecessary tour guides, , would that be a safe option or not?

ETA: NM, testing results in BFBVFS apparently.
50  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! September: WTF? on: 2007 September 05, 03:08:28
I like it. It's the eyeball tree!

I think this object needs to be hacked.

How about enlarging it and turning it into a nanny?

Now THAT made me snort my drink out of my nose!  Cheesy
