By not searching since this has been answered many, many times.

My Sims Realty worlds are nice, but I will warn everyone that most of the ones there have the whole neighborhood built in the same style (i.e. every house has the same overall look as they all use the same siding/bricks and same palate and type of build mode objects) and that bothered me a bit.  I know neighborhoods can be like that, but having everyone in town have the same colors on their houses is yuck.  The neighborhoods are lovely and playable, so it's a personal thing.

I second Neverglade, been playing it for weeks and absolutely love it.

There was only one sims3pack, not two.  And you HAVE to run it through the s3rc before decrapifying.  Which you would know if you bothered to freaking figure it out yourself.  If you can't figure this shit out, you don't deserve to have it.

I'm having the problem where my sim's camera gets stuck in the family inventory.  There seems to be no set time or action that makes this happen (once was overnight and once was after remodeling a home for the architect career) and once in family inventory it is unsellable and unmovable.  It happens randomly but if I play someone long enough it will go there (had 5 test cases, usually all within a week of getting the camera, one was a few hours after getting it).

I used to get these all the time playing a user made world (Fargo) but they were the type that would go away after a few minutes.  I chalked it up to that world and stopped playing it.  Since then I have been playing multiple worlds, including Twinbrook for quite some time.  I never had another one until I just must awesome mod back in and restarted Sunset Valley and had a bunch right away.  They were the ones that I had to kill from the task manager.  So I think it's something related to awesome mod as I've never had any problems without it but a bunch when it's in.  I don't think it's a stuck sim because I started using fixall and towderelicts every sim day and there was really nothing ever needing clearing.  I don't have any simbots and it shouldn't be routing because it happened in an EA world.

Going to see a concert at the stadium lasts only a few sim minutes rather than a couple hours.  The option is still there when the sim comes out so you can keep going in if you desire.  It does give you the concert moodlet so I guess those needing a fun boost in seconds will be pleased.

My firefighter sim was hanging out the fire station after hours and within about an hour, every single sim got stuck standing next to the beds wanting to go to sleep.  The action could be canceled, but just hung there.  None of them could even pass out or die because they were still stuck in that animation.  Game froze and refused to quit.

I use the Nrass no cdmod and it works just fine when am isn't avaliable.  Just drop in packages folder.

I'm pretty sure you are making this harder than it has to be.  I've never had any problems with decrapifying stuff that had the sims3pack in a different folder than the re-compressor.  They are always separate for me.  I've never done your 2nd step, all I've ever needed to do was to drag the sims3pack on to s3rc.exe then to decrapify.exe.  Once they are installed via the launcher, I've never moved them, they are fine where they are.  This should be all anyone needs to do ever.

And no, EA cannot check your launcher and see if you have pirated content.  If they could, so many of us would be in trouble.

You may search the board as the question has been answered many many times.

I love the new world, but I am having some performance issues.  Up until now, I've never had any problem running the game on all high settings, but I noticed that this world runs a little jaggedly and choppy.  It's not horrible, I can still play, but it's just not smooth like before.  I also had some weirdness placing lots, they didn't show completely in any mode other than playing the house directly (Buildings themselves, trees and plants showed).  So anytime I was playing another house, or walking around town past it, or in edit town mode, they weren't showing.  Again, still playable but odd behavior.

Anyone else having this?
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 February 09, 00:00:36
Seeing as we have no clue, exactly, what you have packaged together, my first suggestion would be to make quadruple sure that you have the framework present in the base game and also in the WA folder.  I believe that (that?) has been the issue for most as to why their cc was not showing up in game, post WA.  Also, make sure that you installed the complete framework, both Game and Mods folders, because in the game\bin folder resides the little file that makes the magic happen, d3dx9_31.dll.  And finally, if you replace the framework, make sure to edit the resource.cfg file to reflect any changes.  How I do it is, I extract the framework.zip file into my game folder, which overwrites the resource.cfg with the framework's default cfg file.

It may also be possible that a package file that was previously working in Base, in which you have "packaged" together with others, may be causing havoc in WA.  What exactly did you package together?

:Edited for uncertainty.  Lol  The second that not being there bugs me for some reason.  Damn MATY, and it's unforgiving ways.

I have three different merged packages, one of hair, one of objects, and one of store content.  I have checked the framework many times, it's most definetly in both folders (and my other package files do work and show up).  Checked the resource.cfg file again, using coconnor's example.

So yeah, the only thing I can think is wrong right now is that I might have to redo the files.  Maybe patching or installing wa breaks it for some reason.
38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 February 08, 03:51:54
Okay, I used this process for a few of my files earlier (ones that will always be kept in).  I have since updated patches and installed WA.  Ever since then, my merged packages (in .package format, not dbc)do not show up again.  I do have the dbc addon in my resource.cfg as I was planning on downloading the latest store sets in that format, so that shouldn't be an issue.  All the framework is correct and installed (I triple) checked, and yet the packages are still not showing post patch and WA install.  Anyone have any idea why?
39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.7/2.2 on: 2009 December 06, 02:45:57
Well good to know I'm a speshul snowflake to mess up the file lol.  Reinstalling again and trying once more.  I have not done anything odd to patch the second time, straight install and patch after patch.  I know I have the right version and even tried two different patches (first the straight 1.4.6 to 1.7.9 then the one to the 1.6.6)
40  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.7/2.2 on: 2009 December 05, 02:40:50
Okay, I've been reading the board for over two hours and can't figure out what to do.  My 1.4.6.00002 refuses to patch to 1.7.9.  Ran Delphy's tool and found out my code_version.txt file is invalid.  I copied the original from my iso, and still nothing.  Uninstalled and Reinstalled, patched again, and same thing happens.  Mods are all out (have been the whole time) and I did nothing but patch the second time I installed.  EADM is not an option as it just gives me that inadequate space message, which is bunk as I have plenty of space.  So what are my options now?
