I believe it is ctrl+shift+click, then Sim...then Set Relationship.
27  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Problem Deleting While Using the Color Palette on: 2009 August 17, 15:16:29
I reported this bug a gillion updates ago, but that bug thread has long been deleted/cleaned out/restarted. Pes told me to turn expert mode on, but I like to be reminded to save before I exit. So I turn expert mode on, clean out CAS and CAST, then turn it off.

Did you download the Awesomemod and the Config? You need both.

Let me know what you find. Cheesy

I tried using fixromances, it said there were no problems. That's why I was confused. Just downloaded the newest AM, will try again.

Oh that's cool! Thanks!

Using the latest AM, 8-14-09 1:50am, my married sims still have multiple romantic interests/girlfriends or boyfriends. I thought they couldn't do that if they were commited. Am I wrong? I tried to take a screenshot, but either my print screen button doesn't work or my PC ate the pic, cause I can't find the damn thing on my HD.

Oops, I should have been clearer. I meant the Riverview ASM Friendly save which has the premade families intact. I'm sure they were in the save and not generated by my game because they have because they have random EA names, and I'm using modded names.

That was a brand new game. I didn't add any sims, in fact when the hood loaded I went straight to Edit Town. That has to be a premade family. I always play the empty hoods and add a few sims I make for my "One" family to have as neighbors. My sims tend to have boring surnames, (Smith, Jones, Brown), nothing as interesting as Chin-Han. Cheesy

Make sure it's showconfig with no space. Otherwise it won't work.

(Story Progression is on Normal

Town personalities are an Indie Stone feature, Awesomemod has nothing to do with them.

Story Progression speed is an Indie Stone feature also.

It would have to be a premade family, since none of the made by me sims in my game have that name. I can't imagine how they would have survived the gassing I did in the empty Riverview.....Will check this in game and re-upload if they did indeed escape extermination.

ETA: I just checked, the Riverview Empty ASM is empty. There are no families in the hood. I did another destroyallhumans just in case and it said Poisonous gasses killed 0 asses. So there were no sims in the town. When did you notice this family? If it was after you added/created a family then it's possible that ASM added the family to give someone in your family a boss or co-worker.
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Awesomized Neighborhoods With Cribs on: 2009 August 13, 15:44:24
You have to have the downloaded Riverview for this to work. This is a save file, the only way to share neighborhoods, and without having the original in your game it will not work. I'm sorry.  Cry There isn't anyway I know of to change that.
38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Awesomized Neighborhoods With Cribs on: 2009 August 12, 04:06:53
Yeah even the empty ones are fairly big. Hope you enjoy them! Grin

Yeah, I just did "destroyallhumans" and gassed their asses. lol You're very welcome! I figured since I had set them up for myself, I'd share.

I have what is probably a stupid question, if so feel free to spork me. I just started using the Awesome Story Driver today. I enabled it and InformOnStoryAction in the config, removed ISM, deleted all 4 cache files and started the game. Everything loaded and ran fine for the 3 hours I played. Problem is I didn't get any Story popups. No births, deaths, job notices, moves, ect. I read somewhere that you needed to have Story Progression enabled in the game options. Then I read some here that if you have Story Progression enabled in the game options then you are using EA Story Progression. Which is it? Do I need story progression on in game options, or is there another reason why nothing is happening? The rest of AM's functions are working perfectly.

I uploaded neighborhoods with cribs in every house. If you don't want to take the time to add them to your hood then you can find them here:

Just move your family to the new hood and you're all set.  Grin

The new Awesome Story Mode requires a home to have a crib before sims can procreate. Since people really didn't want to take the time to add cribs to all the homes, I decided to post the ones I made for me.

Sunset Valley ASM
Riverview ASM Friendly

These are the default neighborhoods with all the residents. I added at least 1 crib to every household. The crib/cribs are in bedrooms wherever possible. There might be a house or 2 that has a crib in the hall outside the master bedroom. In some of the houses I had to rearrange the furniture and/or expand the bedroom by 1 tile. Everything else is the same. They still have the same amount of money they had before I bought the cribs.

*Note: The Riverview requires that you have the Riverview neighborhood from the EA Store in your game.

Ok now I understand. Thank you Wolfeyes and Cass! I did RTFM but didn't see the bodysnatcher mentioned. lol I must have either overlooked it or opened the wrong AM zip and read the wrong one.
44  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2009 August 09, 20:33:10
What is this "Added numerical relationship display option."? Is this in the relationship panel or is this in the top left where they tell you what they think about the person they are interacting with? I'm not seeing this anywhere. Also what is the SimSurgery "bodysnatch" command? Do we put that in the cheat box? What does it do? Yes I am running the latest AM.
45  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Indy Stone Mod development stops - News at 9 on: 2009 August 09, 20:25:34
I've started making neighborhoods with a crib in each house. The one I have finished so far is SV with no residents, (I used "destroyallhumans"). I'm going to make an SV with residents intact with cribs, and a Riverview with cribs with and without residents. I was going to post them in the Pudding Factory as I got them finished, but they are too big to post. If anyone wants them, I'll figure out a way to get them to you. I can't afford a premium filesharing account atm.
46  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: 1.4 patch is now out on: 2009 August 09, 19:16:58
Yes you still have to patch. Awesomemod requires the 1.3 patch at this time.
47  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: burglar spawning on: 2009 August 09, 19:06:23
Actually, my one family got robbed last night by a sim that lives in the hood. I was wondering the same thing so after the cops took her away, I went to Edit Town and found a household with the same last name. When I switched to that family, sure enough, she was a part of the household and was in jail.
48  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: 1.4 patch is now out on: 2009 August 07, 22:40:34
Just patched via the launcher with no problems. I didn't remove my mods folder, framework, or CC. Haven't fired up the game yet, so not sure how it runs, but patch ran smoothly.
49  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2009 August 06, 01:46:05
At the same time, other furnishings (like toilets and showers) could be updated to meet the high AM requirements.  However, I'd still like to see some houses without too many beds or cribs, since not everyone wants kids.

What are the AM requirements?  Huh

ok I'll wait. Thanks!  Smiley
