TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 11.02.2013)

I'm very confused What do I need to download, just to fix the set "Brunch at the Old Mill"? Please Help me
You have been helped. Read the posts above yours, and if the fixes there don't work, then post what you have done, and the result. If that is too much work for you, then you need to GTFO because we don't take kindly to your type around here.

well as I said I did search but was met with a barrage of broken links. Now I'll admit I might have skipped over that thread or my search string may have been too specific, either way I have since found the thread you were talking about. Perhaps if things were maintenance, dead threads deleted, broken links removed that would prevent the barrage of people asking the same damn thing. Then again if that happened you wouldn't have people to chew out for doing what you've asked them to do. Oh well.
The reason that my post was nicer than most, and I actually gave an answer, was an acquiescence to the fact that it is a hard thing to find. However, placing a reminder that we expect everyone to do the legwork and actually search for more than 60 seconds in the response does not amount to chewing anyone out. If your sensibilities are so delicate that you can't handle a reminder to "Search MOAR", then you need to GTFO and/or DIAF. Now then, on to the more important issue; learn to punctuate and capitalize correctly, and post in complete sentences, and maybe you'll get some equally useful responses to future inquiries. Also, don't forget to SUPPORT THE MUNICIPALITY. Otherwise, you're just a freeloader bitching that the free site that gives free links to free content isn't making it easy enough for you to ARR things.

Just because it's a WCIF thread doesn't mean you can get away with not searching. Within the last month, there was a post in an adjacent thread about where to find all the Sims 3 worlds with the attendant content. I'll even go a step further toward being helpful and say it is at the top of the most current page of said thread.
Caroline, I would suggest learning how to hyperlink correctly before doling out any further advice.

You're not patched fully. The current version of AM is for the most recent patch. No, there are no previous versions available.
ETA: Looks like it deleted its post (or was nuked, as it was most likely a sock). Serves me right for not quoting it.

Don't double post. Use the "Modify" button.
Besides mods and the listed expansions, are you using any CC, including purchased and/or ARR'd store content? Excessive amounts of CC can cause lag, but combining packages can help to resolve this.
Also, have you patched your base game and expansions? I suggest using the MTS Patcher program.

I don't believe its claim. There is no 16, and I graduated high school at 18, like the vast majority of 'Merkins. I never had to post on this forum to get AM to work, even when using multiple other mods. Obviously, I can't be the dumb one here. Of course, standards were a bit higher where I went to school.
Additionally, with all the socking that's been happening lately, we can't be sure that it's a real person and not the Eurotard in a new username.

Not at all, I simply lowered my language to a level closer to your mental age.
I will never sink to your level, I see you holding hands with the Devil
Just like with the Eurotard, it has made the situation apparent. It's a shame that further sporkings will now receive boringly stupid responses. Oh well, lulz will be found elsewhere.

Oh noes! It called us geeks and thinks that we're stupid! Whatever are we to do?! I don't think I will be able to gather all the pieces of my shattered ego, let alone glue them back together into a semi-comprehensible whole! ETA: Oh yeah, Bye now, geeks!...

Or proud they have better things to do than getting all the tools needed to change the code in a version of AM they never even had on their computer.
Like, for instance, responding to "tards" with a sock account on a forum. Yup, better things.

On the tails of the Eurotard being canned, which came about because it was complaining that it couldn't upgrade from 1.63 (and that was a problem because AM expires), this brand new user just appears out of nowhere to solicit instructions on how to remove the expiration date from the 1.63 version of AM. Adding to that, the posting structure is far too similar, and the account was created minutes after the Eurotard was last active. Nope, I'm not buying it, and I'm definitely not giving instructions that the Eurotard could use to get what it wants if I'm wrong.

The expiration date is an editable value. That's as far as I will go. Old versions are not supported, and there are flimsy pretexts abounding in this thread which prevent me from being less vague. When all else fails, search moar. Also, I am conflicted. On the one hand, recently canned tards don't seem clever enough to mask the use of socks, but on the other hand, this is too similar to be coincidence. ETA: Nope, I'm still certain that this is a sock.

This thread is for fixes, not murdering the English language. If you're going to go into a tissy because you're butthurt, at least do it in an intelligible manner. Think of it this way; it's one less thing we can spork you about later.
Also, is the Eurotard going into the sock business?
