This guy is hijacking your Fix and renamed it into:
  • TG Store Fix V16 ~ KT_StoreFix_DecrapFixes.package
  • TG Unblock Fix V13 ~ ccmerged.package
  • TG Pet Shop Fix V6 ~ KT_XMLs.package (previously named KT_StoreFix_UnAwesome.package)

Does anybody know why I have problem with downloaded files from TS3 store? Many of them can't be installed, program tells me "your game isn't updated, please update it". But it isn't true, I have the last update and most downloaded files from Store still can't instal.

Admittedly I don't know the answers to those questions but I would assume a player created "townie" mermaid wouldn't work as they would be lot based and not ocean based like the ones created by the game are so you couldn't happen across one whilst exploring a dive spot.
I only got my game working again two days ago and haven't actually played in IP yet.

Menaceman, I do believe the mermaids in IP are townies so the suggested should work. The moment I befriended a mermaid she led me to the secret mermaid island, whether or not there are more than the one island that require mermaids IDK.

I... what... how? I have all the store content installed and only have 6 dbcs. Unless you download other stuff besides store crap? Anything that isn't store goes into my mods folder in a big merged custom content file (excluding actual mods). It might be helpful to do that or if all those files are from just store stuff try deleting then re-installing everything together. It's a PITA but it cuts your files by half. I hate how the game can only handle having a very small amount of separate files *grumbles*.

While I do need to re-install everything eventually, it seems like everytime I do I get less of those. And that is only store stuff BTW.

Someone suggested deleting the downloadedsims.index in the savedsims folder,  I did that, and the game loads up perfectly fine now and all my downloads are there!

I was having major issues with not being able to get my game to load with my mods folder in and it seemed no matter which files I had in, it would not start. I removed the downloadedsims.index file after reading here and my game loads fine now with all mod folders intact. I've not tried actually playing yet but it will always start up now at least.
Just posting for confirmation that this file does seem to affect the loading of the game.

On a more related matter, I like EP10 better than that Supercrappual EP with not-undead pseudozombies and all that dumb wizard/fairy/hairy stuff no-one can use.

Like the mermaids are any better; they're useless. The new shiny effect they have wears off real quick when you realize that once you've seen them swim around for a few minutes that that's all they're worth.

OMG, i'm really confuse, how i use it  Huh

Make a folder and put your sims3packs into it. Download the first link and put those two files into the same folder with your sims3packs. Select the sims3packs and drag them over the decrapify.exe. That's it.

i put "KT_StoreFix_DecrapFixes", "KT_StoreFix_Fixes_All" e "KT_StoreFix_UnAwesome" in packages folder, and ccmerged in Dcbackup.
But i dont see itens ._.
obs: i install set complete and after uninstall the lot and itens i dont like ._.
What i can do?

I only have 13 dbcs and my game decides when it wants to work or not. On a fresh startup of my pc I try to run the game and it works. I quit the game and try running it again, I get the forever black loading screen. I remove my dbccache folder, try running the game and it works. Quit the game, replace my dbccache folder, try running the game and it works. Quit the game, try running it again and I get the forever black loading screen. I'm gonna try a few more things but I might be switching over to packages for store stuff.

Yah I am about ready to do the same here, just not looking forward to having to redownload and find them all. Either that I'll just get the ones that are missing as packages..

Well for now I have found a suitable work around. I added this line to my resource.cfg file in my mods folder:

Priority 500
PackedFile DCCache/*.dbc

Then copied the dbc files into a folder named DCCache in my mods folder. Zipped up the mydocuments DCCache folder for when I need to add more store stuff then deleted the original. I only install store stuff through the launcher and everything is arr'd so I had no ebc files(legit store stuff). Works like a charm and all my fixes still work. Now my game starts up everytime. This will do for now until something else comes up or when I feel like playing around with cc magic or something.

IMPORTANT DISCOVERY!

So I just discovered something very interesting, I deleted the extra cache files above dcdb15 and the game loaded perfectly fine. So I put in dcdb16 and the game refused to load, I tried 17 -19 too, same thing, one extra file above 15 and the game refuses to load at all. So I removed dcdb15 and put in dcdb16 and the game loaded fine, I tried it with 17, 18 and 19 too and the game ran fine, but as soon as more than 15 cache files were placed in the folder, the game refused to load.

Before anyone jumps all over me about this I did test it. But the fixes conflict with the food and drink stand. I had to take all my mods out to determine which one was causing the problem and the fixes are the one that cause it to not have a food menu show up. If anyone can get it not to do that I will add them back in.

What food and drink stand? Are those new objects? Store? Game?

Are you patched to 1.55 now? Sounds like you've got the same problem as me, with the black loading screens. What I have to do is first make sure the launcher isn't running via the task manager then load the launcher. Once that's up and running start the game. It does take a while for everything to load up but it does start up eventually.

With the latest patch the launcher does take a lot longer to load up the first time. You should try FULLY patching first, then open the launcher, instal what you're trying to install and wait for it to do it's thing.

On a completely different side note, Chrome is insisting I correct "a lot" to "alot". What is this I don't even.

Upon installing the 1.50 test version, I started having audio glitches (went on and off with a click noise) - on live mode only -, and ghosts started to checkin in my Resort.

There is no 1.50 test version, 1.50 is stable.

If you're referring to me kissing_toast then you're wrong, the version I downloaded from the gamma server is dated 27/06/13 and the RTFM specifically mentions 1.55.



Are you referring to the time stamp on the site or the actual time stamp on the file that downloaded? Cause the one I got was not from today.

If your stuff is decrapped I would suggest going into your library folder, finding the lot in question and re-decrapping it. The lots will all be named a bunch of numbers so use the time stamp to figure out what is what or open them up in s3pe and check the thumbnails to see which lot it is.

Updated everything. Moved around and changed some things so pay attention. I removed the unAwesome mod and replaced it with the KT_XML mod. Now that is the only piece that needs updating come new patch time. The working pet register was moved to decrap fixes since that's technically what it is. Game isn't reliably loading so I don't have the patience to fix the teen workout outfit right now; since I couldn't find the problem in the package itself I'll have to add bits that I think is causing it one at a time and load the game.

Just to clarify, as it's no longer specified in the first post: is KT_XMLs still only needed if you *don't* use AwesomeMod?

Yes and no, the career bundle is fixed by AM, the register isn't. Either way you should be able to use it with AM, I'll test when a test version is out.

I find the resorts a nice idea, but rather pointless. You can only go to resorts that are in your hometown. It ends up being more of a staycation than a vacation. And, you cannot have a resort lot in any of the World Adventures worlds.  Also, scuba diving. Maybe I didn't play around with it long enough, but in 8 sim hours of doing it, I found one chest and got mauled by a shark.

All in all, I'm finding this expansion rather boring. Decent idea, but horrible execution.

Yea, scuba diving is pretty boring.
