76  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 February 22, 00:36:12
I need to clean my sims3 pack files. Thats the ONLY answer I could find.

Surely one of you could just verify this as being the ONLY thing I need to do.

Here's a crazy idea. Let me just propose a thing for you. How about you: clean your sims3pack files, and then put them in your game, and then see if it works? I think you might be able to answer your own question. Well, not "you" specifically, just the general idea of "you," as a narrative device we use when we address a generic person who we don't already understand to be an imbecile.

Rufio will now explain which specific "you" I was talking about.

You know, the incessant sniping really isn't necessary or helpful. Can we stick to the mods, please?

What part of this do you not get yet?

What Spockblock meant was Awesome mod does not block any same sex relationships. In fact I have it from Pescado's words that it will actually generate new SS rels once a critical lvl is reached.

Yes. Considering my great love for both Awesomemod and Lesbians, I consider myself an authority in this specific area. And take it from this expert: same-sex romantic socials totally work with AM installed.

The game now handles large memory addressing by default, at least since Late Night came out. Patching to the latest version should make it irrelevant whether you have the EPs or SPs installed or not.

But it's not inconvienent to reply several times to call me stupid and lazy. Why don't you just admit that you get off on being a jerk? It's ok I won't tell anybody.

This would almost qualify as insight if it wasn't patently clear that YES: WE DO ENJOY BEING JERKS.

Next on NOOB-O-VISION: My golly, that Garfield character certainly is hungry.

So in other words a complete reinstall which you should have just done in the first place, rather than bitching about emailing EA.

Alexina needs to bitch about things like plants need sunlight and water, apparently.

Be careful. She's going to tell you to shut up VERY ELABORATELY now.

If it's been asked THIS MUCH why not post a sticky thread instead of calling people retarded?

It's more fun to call people retarded than to have a sticky thread.

Don't you read TV Tropes?
83  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Two mods: Quicker Conversion and Household Chance on: 2011 February 21, 23:27:05
I'm not interested in bickering. If you'd like to add something constructive to the topic, please do so. Thanks.

You don't actually get to tell people what they can talk about here. I'm not sure who informed you that you were given this authority, but they were mistaken.

PS - viewing my profile will bring you no closer to enlightenment on this issue.

I did a search a few minutes ago and found a post about de-crapifying things you download. I dont know how to do that.

You could always try searching MOAR, you know.

Hi. For some reason, Futureshock, Glitter and Glam, and now Gothique won't install. The first two tell me to update my game (it is) and Gothique will download and it says it's installed but it's not showing up in game.

I have Late Night and High End Loft.

I looked on the Sims3 website and didn't see anything about those sets being for a certain EP.

Your sims hate you because you DON'T KNOW HOW TO SEARCH FOR INFORMATIONS.
86  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Two mods: Quicker Conversion and Household Chance on: 2011 February 21, 22:46:43
What I believe is immaterial. That information was posted so it was relevant in this context.

No, that's not what relevant means.

Here is a later mod that was posted on ModtheSims. It has two notable tidbits.

Same Sex relationships are apparently blocked by AwesomeMod and its' users may experience difficulties if attempted.

You should probably not believe everything you read on the Internet.
88  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: EA store stuff in *.dbc format - a torrent on: 2011 February 19, 19:44:22
Oh I am sooo sorry that my shift key not always work and that i punctuate inthe danish way .. Didnt knew that I needed to be perfect at english grammar og spelling to have
permission to write in english .. Apparently my bad ..

I'm guessing the "Danish way" also involves smushing words together and not knowing how to use ellipses as well as broken shift keys and ignoring the advice of spell-checkers? The next time I go to Daneland I'll be sure to mash all the keyboards I see with my meaty fists in observance of the local customs.

And yes maybe im not spelling correctly, im from Denmark, let me see you write Danish

I'd try to answer your question but I'd have to be able to parse it first.

I tell you again, ElderGeek.  Tongue

I will go and read.

What was the question again?

94  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Anyone using a Macbook pro here? on: 2011 February 15, 18:59:04
I'm not interested in arguing the specifics.

You probably picked the wrong board to post that in, then.
95  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: A serious error has occurred... on: 2011 February 13, 17:27:39
btw no problems with PEBCAK... that is all except for frequent 24/7 migraines, plantar facitis in my left foot, IBS, stomach ulceration, ADHD, POD, anxiety, depression, and a tendancy to want to cut off peoples' heads with a blunt butter knife and see how far up their asses I can squeeze it.  Some people think I'm insane, like my psychiatrist, but Mr Sock Puppet doesn't think so.

96  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Only launcher downloads showing up! help! on: 2011 February 13, 05:33:48
Prior to installing awesome mod,all my downloads showed up. after i installed it only downloads from the launcher showed up. so i uninstalled awesome mod and they still aren't there. i tried re-installing them and it didn't work. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do people continually blame AM for their own fuck ups?

I usually blame James Franco.
97  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Can my game be better if I upgrade my machine? on: 2011 February 12, 03:15:35
Yes, it will probably run better under Vista than XP. And even better under 7.

Vista is a RAM hog, so it probably wouldn't run better than XP unless you have a lot of RAM to play with.

Yes, but will XP even use anything over 3 GB?
98  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Can my game be better if I upgrade my machine? on: 2011 February 12, 01:37:23
I'll check the video card choice with a friend who runs a computer shop, but knows nothing of Sims. Trif of Crazy Town is also suggesting an OS upgrade given I run XP 'la ordinaire. Any comments?

Yes, it will probably run better under Vista than XP. And even better under 7.
99  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Can my game be better if I upgrade my machine? on: 2011 February 12, 00:10:08
Your specs sound better than mine, and my game runs pretty flawlessly.

Sounds more like data corruption.

I am actually inclined to agree with Chain ReCtion on this one. Kissing toast has potential as witty MATYer, certainly, but she does seem to be suffering from MUSTMAKEPRESENCEFELTCONSTANTLY-itis. Let us not forget the cautionary tales of others who outgrew their boots far too early.

Are you calling me fat?

I AM NOW.
