A Question About Lag

My game lags terribly on community lots. Is there any hack or mod out there that will keep other visitors from coming to the community lots while I am on it? I love visiting the lots with me and a buddy but other visitors are a literal drag!

Although twojeffs' work is now considered as un-awesome ;), I can really recommend his visitor controller, to be found on the kitten killer site in TJ's Testing Grounds section. The VC is still beta, so you have to register in order to download it.
