BV: Anybody Updating These Abandoned Mods?

I also have a hack for that called "exit-skill-hack" (though it does have the interesting side effect of making some visitors restart raking the leaves rapidly over and over).

I suggest putting the instruments in a room and using Authorized Personnel Only to autonomous-lock them so that they cannot be accessed autonomously.

Yeah well, I sort of have the grand piano in the living room. It looks rather nice there, so I would like to keep it that way. I'll pop over to Monique's, thanks Joe. I didn't know she had a mod like that.

BTW, I have the same issues as the person who asked originally about this. Strangely enough, the piano (the upright) doesn't seem as inviting to the simmies as the grand piano.

Dizzy, that's an interesting side-effect. If it is constant, that might be great for looking and laughing. Or movie making, which I don't do.

Another side effect is that a sim might start painting and stop painting over and over. That one is a little less amusing.

veilchen:
LOL, ('coz I did)

Talk about realism. A sim with ADD.

I was really surprised that no one has made a decorative non-playable piano over at MTS2.  Well, I suppose as long as you don't download the fix needed to make this piano playable http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=181755 it would work as a decoration only.

I'd like to see one that  was maybe originally a bed and only pets can sleep on it.  Or maybe just cats could since seeing a dog sleeping on a piano (or computer keyboard!!) isn't as funny.

My luck, I would forget it was purely decorative and not be able to figure out why future sims couldn't gain skill with it/ couldn't play on it  :D
