I'd be inclined to run a quick check in SimPE, just to be on the safe side.  Or, even quicker, just to check for any extra characters, you could just let the Clean Installer list your character files - if there are any that should be "Person" and are shown as "Object", when they shouldn't be a dead unlinked sim, then you might have a little work to do. ;)
