Wel,, I hope you posted a complaint at the BBS to that effect! If the patch is causing more problems than it solves, they really do need to address this problem!

somebody I know on the BBS had a problem with the patch where they weren't getting walkbys and other sims at community lots and that sort of stuff.
Looks like Maxis will have to patch the patch.
How many months do you think THAT will take?

I dunno, but I wish they'd learn and try the darn thing themselves!!!!!! they really ought to have two or three people just playing the game and pushing it to it's limits so they can get some kind of feedback!
Or just employ people like you and me to test things out for them! I'd love to be paid for just playing my game!!!!!

Yeah, like I can't BELIEVE they didn't catch the "can't influence other sim to drink Vamprocillin-D" thing. That is why most companies will have somebody PLAYTEST a game before releasing it. Plainly they didn't do that or many many of the bugs we see would have never gotten through the testing process.

Hey wait a minute they are doing the best they can and Maxis is probably being pushed by EA to get it out faster than they should.
