I found Kaspersky about a month ago and i like it so far.... of course, it found virus's hanging around a few places that Norton missed for months... glad i didn't use those things :)
It just has some annoying popups that i haven't figured out how to get rid of....

Try Major Geeks forums. They tend to have useful tools.
Also, some people have expressed love for Panda AV, but that program stuck around like a bad rash when I tried it on my Win98 lappy. I can only assume they made it less tenacious.

It also costs money! And if you don't buy, you get spammed!

Personally, I use the AVG free edition, and have been very happy with it.
