Quick yes or no question on Genetics

(1/1)

Gwill:
I know there are a lot of topics on genetics already, but most of them are absurdly long and it's almost impossible to find exactly what you're looking for, especially if you, like me, have the attention span of a goldfish with ADHD. And the most commonly linked reference is a 404 (although I did manage to track down the file in question by going straight to the source).

I see genetic eye values range from 0-4, where 1 and 2 is the only ones really usable.
So, does eye genetics work with decimal points?

jrd:
No.

1 = dominant
2 = recessive
3 = extra recessive
4 = super recessive

These are integers (ℕ, indivisible whole numbers). Something like 1,4 is treated as 1. I'm not sure if rounding is used, or a simple cut-off after the comma (so 1,9 might still be treated as 1).

Gwill:
Thank you, that's exactly what I needed to know.
Feel free to lock and archive this now, so it doesn't turn into another one of those threads.

It just needs a little re-direction.
