JMP's hack will stop Sims from getting fat if they're active -- lazy Sims still overeat.

Gwill:
I'm not sure if it's just No Eat Crap, but with the director's cut my sims stop eating when they are full, and thus don't get fat.  Only sims who are already fat keep eating.

Hook:
Just have your Sims spend a little time on a treadmill.  They can work the fat right back off again.  At least it gives them something to do. :)
