Does that mean they won't age transition to YA until then?
This might refer to a problem I and others have had where a Sim finishes the first semester of Freshman year, completes the final but doesn't get credit for it and has to repeat that whole semester. I had it happen on the second semester of Freshman year also after I advanced them to the second semester via SimPE.

I haven't patched a thing since getting zapped by the first Pets patch (since removed) so you can be sure I'm not going first. If at all.
