Older than Methuselah or an impending BFBFVS?

I have a sim who, to my surprise, has reached the ripe old age of 118 days old. I accidently scrolled over his picture and saw this:




Glitch, record or impending doom?

Glitch, but probably harmless. For reasons unknown, certain random events will occur which can arbitrarily extend a sim's death date. I can't find where this happens, but I've definitely seen it happen, where a sim dies, and according to last measurements, I expected the other sim to die on the same day also, but suddenly it has gained another several days. That's probably what happens here. Has this sim actually been alive that long?

Now that you mention it, the lot sync timer is on it's 79th day, though I can't remember how old he was (he being a townie IIRC) when he moved into the lot, nor can I remember what day the timer was on it when he moved in. I guess those stats could be calculated to see if he is truly 118 days old, but I can't be arsed to try and work it out.

Was this an elder townie? Has he always been been an elder, or was he at one point an adult?

He was an adult when he moved in.
